We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was good. The staff was helpful. It is a nice relaxing place with a nice backyard where you can enjoy fresh grapes off the vines. The kitchen is well equiped as well.

A cosy, quiet and beautiful place to relax and enjoy Cafayate and surroundings. Definitely not a party hostel, but in the nice backyard you have a lot of opportunities to meet other travellers. The staff was very friendly aswell, so for me it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Stayed one night in private double room with shared bathroom. The highlight of the hostel is the garden area which is great for evening bottles of vino and chats with fellow travellers. Clean, reliable and good value for money. The staff are more efficient than overly friendly. The Nanni wine tour is great as is Secreta and Etchart, hire bikes from the plaza and do the quedbrada afternoon trek. Good restaurant is the parillada next to the church.

Rusty-K is a great place to stay in Cafayate. Its not a party hostel, but then Cafayate isn´t a party town really. Rooms are always clean, the hostel has plenty of character. Its only a 2-3 blocks from the main square, and the bus station to/from Salta (which is different to the bus station to/from Tucuman, which is slightly further away. Breakfast was fine. Main attraction though is doing a tour into the mountains with Walter ( the hostel owner as your guide) - definitely do this!

We originally booked for 2 nights in this hostel and stayed for 7!It was the best hostel we have stayed in in S.America.The staff were so helpful and friendly. From the moment we got there Patricia made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of info about Cafayate (which is a hidden gem). Make sure you do a tour of the canyons with the owner, Walter and try the best asado in Argentina with Daniel- we had one every night! The rooms were spotless and the outdoor space was great for relaxing!we love RK
