my first hostel experience, and it was great. the owner and staff ended up not just being helpful, but being good friends as well. was only going to be in jaco one night, but ended up staying a second because the hostel was such a relaxing place. thank you maria! thank you devyn!

Very nice place, great staff, María is so friendly. Good location, close to everything, I mean (supermarkets, Bars, the beach, Disco, Restaurants). I'll return there.

the owner and staff do not seem to communicate so my room had been given away even though i had reserved a week in advance. the staff on the ground was upset and gave me an attitude but I ended up with a good deal.
