Directions to Ryokan Murayama

From Tokyo area:
From JR Tokyo Station, take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to JR Nagoya Station, 1 hour 40minutes.
Switch to Takayama Line to JR Takayama Station, about 2 hours.

From JR Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line express train to Matsumoto Station, 2 hours 40 minutes.
From Matsumoto Station, take a nonstop bus to Takayama Station, 1 hour 20minutes.

From Osaka area:
From JR Shin-Osaka Station, take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to JR Nagoya Station, 50minutes.
Switch to Takayama Line to JR Takayama Station, about 2 hours.

　
By bus:

From Tokyo(Shinjuku) to Takayama, take a highway bus, about 5 hours.
From Osaka(JR Tennoji) to Takayama, take a highway bus, about 5 hours 27 minutes.
　
We are 30 minutes on foot from the JR Takayama Station. It takes about 7 minutes by taxi, at the cost of around 1000yen. If you take a bus from the station, go to the bus terminal which is located on the left side of the exit of the station. Go to the No.1 terminal, and take a bus called Sarubobo Bus. Get off at Hidanosatoshita stop, and walk back for 1 min to the ryokan. It is a 10 minutes� bus ride, and cost 200yen.

We offer pick-up service from JR Takayama Station from 14:00 until 17:30. Please call from the Information Center in front of the station. Transportation to JR Takayama Station is available at 8:20, 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning.
