Ryokan Sansui Reviews

I'm not sure if I've read something about closing hours. Because after I checked-in it was told to me, that I have to be back before midnight. What's that? I'm a tourist who wanna enjoy the night city but who can't? This was only one problem, price was surprised just for my japanese friend and now I can agree with him, because yesterday and day before I spent 2 nights in Osaka, hotel was just in the heart of Dotonbori and I paid only 650 Y more.

Situated within a minute's walk from a tram stop means you're not sinking under the weight of your luggage to get here. Has lots of character and the lady owner is both friendly and knowledgeable.

A really friendly family run Ryokan, one of the warmest welcomes I had on my visit to Japan. Easy to get to from Hiroshima station on the tram and if heading on to Miyajima it's close to Nishi-hiroshima JR Station where you can get the train to the ferry terminal (10-15mins just fo, I walked but you can take the tram, (10-15mins just follow the tram lines) At the time of writing (19/11/11) the website did not advertise that free wifi is available, just ask for the security code when you arrive.

Very close to Tram Stop from JR Station. Within walking distance to Peace Park. Also, right near walking path along river. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful, gave great recommendations for eating nearby.

A friendly welcome and a great stay. The hostel is only 5 minutes walk from the Peace Park and 15 minutes tram ride from Hiroshima station. The owner was very friendly and helpful despite our broken Japanese! Rooms were clean and comfortable.

This hostel is a short walk from the major sights in Hiroshima and very close to the tram line. it is very clean and well run.

The owner is extremly friendly and incredible nice. Its very near the Hiroshima Memorial Park, you ca walk there in 10 minutes.

The host is such a nice lady, very friendly, very helpful. keeping the place spotless and very comfortable. I love the extra touches she puts in. every room has a small TV, a table with boiler, tea leaves so that you can enjoy a hot cup of o-cha right in the room. She also has very nice yukata prepared for the guests. My friend and I really enjoy the stay. It was excellent. Make us always remember Hiroshima and the good people we met.

Lovely host. Limited amount of English but was very accommodating. The room was a good size with a small table and chairs. Only downside was that the website said that there is free breakfast. She said no because it was a Sunday, but I'm not sure if free breakfast applies at all. Check when you book. Overall a lovely stay.
