Ryokan Sansui Reviews

I think it would be safer if a key was required to get into the hostel as well as the rooms. In the current condition, anyone could enter the ryokan.

We had a great stay here, it was quiet and very clean and felt like staying in someone's house. Staff is very friendly, though English is limited. Owner kindly responded to email about a lost item after we left. Decent value considering you get a very clean, neat private room (bathrooms are shared). Location convenient for Peace Park and restaurants and some shops, also very close to a tram stop (30 minutes away from JR station by tram). Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

A lovely place to stay, felt very welcome here. Quite central for a trip into city centre or to Miyajima Island. Great little restaurant around the corner that makes amazing Okonomiyaki!!

I enjoyed the Sansui Ryokan and our hostess was really very helpful regarding where to go especially as her English was limited, but she she showed me how to walk and get on public transport and places of interested giving me a map with directions in English. Extremely helpful and very gracious.

It was like staying at nans

It really was like visiting someone at home. A wonderfully warm welcome (though limited English, a smile and gestures go far), super clean room and shared facilities. Shower room was an experience, but worked out fine. No laundry on-site, but is nearby. Trip and day cards available to purchase. Will stay here again, no problem! Thanks for a warm welcome!
