We had a really comfortable room and the hostel has a very warm atmosphere. The staff welcomed us and was very helpful. The location is a 10 minutes cycle away from the main CBD. The hostel offered a free bicycle hire, which was very handy.

Kind and friendly staff. I would love to visit again. They also gave us great maps of the immediate area for restaurants and POI

Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Setting in a quiet suburb was nice, and the river running by put me right to sleep. I wish I had planned on a longer stay with them. We're already talking about our next trip to Matsumoto.

Really helpful staff drove me to and from the station. A little outside the city centre but they have bikes for free!! Awesome touch. My room was very nice and perfect for one person. The onsen was pretty small, would be quite tight with more than one person. Also they offered dinner and breakfast for a somewhat high price, and I got a look at the kitchen and it was FILTHY. So that turned me off of the food there. Overall really nice experience though.

Seifu-so was the best stay during our 2-week trip (and still not the most expensive). Thank you for taking such good care of us, lending us bikes and driving us to the staion. We hope to come back and then stay longer. Kajsa Lemby

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. It is the nicest place I have stayed at in all my trips to Japan. The owner's daughter speaks excellent English and gave me a hand drawn map of Matsumoto so I could look around. The food was great and the plates were better than the ones I use at home. If you want to stay in a modern Ryokan / Minshuku I really recommend this place.

The hotel is a little far from the centre and the station, but they are very well prepared for this, they facilitate bikes and they take you to the station if needed. Quality-price is very good. Rooms are great and staff wonderful.
