It's a really beautiful ryokan located in a very special area, close to temples, gardens and good 'tofu' restaurant.

Although we paid a higher than average price, we got one of the largest rooms at this Ryokan. We only spent one night here but wish we had more time. Though a little difficult to reach, bus no.5 (50 minutes from Kyoto station) and a bit of walking (5 mins) it\'s very nicely located, at the entrance to nanzen-ji temple in Northern Higashiyama area.
