The hostel offers you what you're paying for. A bed to sleep and leave your things. The staff is helpful and kind. The area around the hostel doesn't feel safe, so if you're traveling alone take an extra care arriving during the night. It's not far away from Monastiraki Square, around 10 min walking.
The location to the city centre of Athens is great; however, the neighbourhood/particular street that the hostel is located on did not feel safe. As a group of young women travelling together, we were constantly heckled on the streets and didn't feel safe walking at any time of the day. The hostel front doors were also always open to the public. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was pretty dingy and the sink leaked. The staff here was great though! There was someone available 24 hours.
