The hotel is located nearby all the attractions, but the area itself is kinda "down town". The staff were knowledgable and friendly. Wi-fi connection was excellent. Recommended to travelers on a budget who are looking for a basic place to stay.

The hotel itself was a good place for a good price, no complaints at all there. The location is...interesting to say the least. It's a very doable walk from the center and all the big tourist attractions, and close to the metro, but the immediate area is kind of...well, it's easy to forget you're in the EU. I wouldn't call it threatening or dangerous, but be prepared for a less-than-prosperous atmosphere. Wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some.

It's a very nice place to stay. Good location. Although it has a weird neighborhood, there are a lot of cops around, so it's a safe place.

I just have good things to say about that hostel! They are really kind and honest. I forgot my passport in the room (and consequently lost my flight) and they returned my passport and helped me with the flight tickets! It is also really close from the metro station and from many bakeries and stores. The price is fair and you have towels and cleaned room. I recommend!

I really liked Soho! nice rooms, cool stuff... Is excellent if you don't want to stay in the tourist places. Quiet place where you can see the real Athens live. Comfortable place.

Excellent hotel !!! Really cheap and with all facilities: your own bathroom, fridge, comfortable beds, towels, blankets, nice staff... We thought it was impossible: so cheap price for these nice rooms! And it's just in the center, near to everywhere, just by walking! Almost there's no security, but nothing is gonna happen, it's not a dangerous area at all, so it's ok. The only bad thing is there's no breakfast... but at least they offer you free coffee!

Our stay at Soho hotel was very pleasant overall, we had spacious room with balcony, the beds and linens were in good conditions (no bed bugs etc.) and the bathroom was clean. Of course it is not a fancy hotel, but it is good when travelling on a budget, so it is suitable for backpackers, young people, groups etc. The area might seem a bit vague, but we didn't experienced any unpleasant encounters. Just look like you know where you are going and don't look anyone too long.
