Be warned there is an extra fee if you're not a member of "Hosteling International"! We went to pay the price quoted on the Hostelworld booking reference and were told that it costs more (it worked out around £5 per person per night more than quoted on Hostelworld) - so bare that in mind when booking as the Hostelworld does not make this extra cost obvious. Apart from that the hostel is in a good location, with a short walk to the main attractions.
We had a room with a view on the harbour, it was just beautifull. Shower and commons are clean, the breakfast is expensive (as everything in Sweden) but it worth it. Same for the room. We had a good time in this hostel.
Very clean & tidy, great location on an island not too far from city centre, but still quiet.
Amazing location and the boat outside is awesome!! I would not highly recommend it if you are traveling alone/looking to meet people. It is a huge hostel with little common space. The staff is very helpful thought and had great recommendations!!
Fantastic spot, really close to everything. Quiet with nice bird sounds in the morning. Very comfortable bed and beautiful warm bathroom. Personally l find it hard to sleep with windows open and blinds up! l have found those pesky Euro's and Scandi's seem to love it tho...

The hostel is located in the "Museum island" right next to the contemporary art museum. The island has a great view on old town and is in the middle of all local attractions. 24 hour reception, clean rooms, bed linen is of Scandinavian white color. There is a kitchen and tables, so you cam make yourself a nice porridge for breakfast! I've met nice people of all ages from all around the world. Enjoyed my stay very much. Highly recommended for single travellers, as long as for family vacation.
