We were so impressed with this hostel, it is definitely one of the best that i have stayed in yet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast that is optionally provided at a small extra cost is fantastic and well worth it. Everything was fabulous and we had a great stay!!

This hostel is located in a real ship, very cool. It's very clean, a lot of bathrooms and toilets so you won't stand in line. Just don't forget to carry your card with you even if you go out of your room to the toilet, because otherwise you'll have to come out of the ship and go to the nearest building to the reception. The breakfast is rather expensive is you're not a member of something something (it costs bout 9 euros then) so I didn't take it. But Stockholm is rather expensive city anyway.

We slept in the boat and it was fantastic. The hostel has a unique character - quite manly, I guess. The linen was clean, the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely come back when we're in Stockholm.

Boat Hostel...what a location!!!Unfortunately we had the tiny room No. 10, where the ventilation is very noisy! Not worth the extra money! Group-room No 12 was much larger and more friendly!Another thing what´s missing on the boat is a common room! The kitchen could be more cleanly..But all in all a good place to stay!

Nice, unusual, free bedlinen, HI card can be bought on arrival. Large lockers! Very clean WC/sink. It's not very close to city centre and metro, sometimes the only way is to walk (there was no bus late on Sunday according to schedule). But it's not far or difficult to walk, even at night. Also no shops/cafes were found nearby, for that it's usually necessary to walk over the bridge.

I have stayed at the newly renovated Chapman three years ago and enjoyed it very much. This time I wanted to show Stockholm to my son and I thought the best location to stay at is the Chapman. Now he thinks so too!

I spent one night in a mixed 6 beds room, I was the only woman but the guys were very nice. Don't forget that if you're not a member you have to pay a fee when you arrive, and also the bed linen is not included in the price so don't think you'll pay the amount that they say when you reserve, it would be more that expected. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay, I was in the boat so it was very nice. I'll surely come back there the next time I need a room in stockholm.

Cool idea. The novelty of sleeping on a boat wears off pretty soon, especially because you can't really chill out on deck. That said, the facilities are good for any hostel and other than the porthole window and slightly low ceilings, it's easy to forget you're on a boat. It's overpriced, but everything in Stockholm is.

Amazing location with a sublime view of Stockholm. The museums are very close by and so is the city center and central station. Mostly everything at a walking distance. Beds were very comfortable.

My stay at the Chapman was really nice . The hostel is very clean and well cared for , bathrooms , beds , etc .It stays at walking distance from most of the must see places in Stockholm and the ship is beautiful and really big . Breakfast is good , but you pay almost 10 euro for it . The only thing I didn't like about it is that there is no common room , no place were you can meet people and make friends , and that can be a problem to the ones like me who travel alone

We got a double room, no. 26 on the ship. It is indeed very small and not too convenient. The cover over the lamp at one of the beds was missing. The ligth, however, was generally good. The handle to one of the two drawers was missing, so only one of them could be used. The door to one of the two dors to the wardrope was behind a chair and the table, so it would be very difficult to use. Hope to get another room next time.

Great hostel! The boat is great and the views are amazing. I liked that there were so many separate washrooms just for girls, and showers as well. The people at the hostel really varied, with young people, older people and families as well. My only real complaints are that some of the beds in the dorms are too short, and the duvets were kind of worn and gross looking with no covers (there were sheets though of course). Also, you need a small lock for the lockers --regular padlocks don't fit!
