Location outside the city and suitable for nice walks. Ideal for a quiet and relaxing short break. Good information at the reception . Recommended.

When i went there an important event was happening in Gothemburg, so it was the only hostel available for those days. It is very nice if your purpose is to have fun in the nature, but if you are planning to visit the city then is definitely very far away, and you need to combine train and bus to reach the hostel, which is time and money consuming. More info about how to reach the hostel should be provided by the hostel when booking.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL! I know this gets said a lot but this place soured our experience of göteborg. The reception closes at the ludicrous hour of 18.00 and they don't seem to answer the phone even in business hours. This is important when the directions they supply end at the local bus stop, a 15 minute walk through back streets from the hostel. They then attempted to charge us 60sek for half a breakfast, the kitchen is closed until 4pm, the rooms are depressing and the place is ages away from the centre and getting in there takes half the day up. The attitude of the staff was poor and the service arrogant and inconsiderate. I warn those considering staying here; we have been travelling through Europe for two months and have stayed in 20 hostels, this was by far the worst and we hope we do not encounter another like it. 40min bus ride from town, only a sauna in the hostel, not even a pool table! running trails were amazing though. our taxi driver had never even heard of the hostel. the nearest bus is only once an hour. dont go to gothenburg for a lads trip abroad! Read Owner Comments
