The hostel looked nice and looked like it had a friendly atmosphere. There were no immediate problems with the hostel. It is a good place to stay for one night and if you don't expect friendly staff. The staff were not outright rude, however they just seemed shocked if we ever asked them for any help with anything. They also sent us to our room failing to tell us the security code we needed to get in - they acted shocked when we asked for this necessary information.
Spoiled by non-stop noise pollution in the common area and inconsiderate hostellers: who thought it was acceptable to sort out the contents of a suitcase, with much rustling of polythene bags, at 22.30; spend an hour, until 23.30, with a light on doing something to her hands; come in and out of the room a number of times; switch a light on and hang up laundry at 00.45 and inform me she could put a light on anytime she wanted to; play with cellphone; a male came in at 01.30 and snored loudly.
Amazing hostel, great location, friendly and helpful staff and a fun place.
Location wise, the best, just 1min away from the intercity bus terminal, which is so convenient for travellers travelling with public transportation. But my roommates were not that considerate, especially considering it is a dorm you are staying. One girl was talking loudly from the washroom to her friend in the room, at 6.30AM where there was still people sleeping. Then some who were up early around 7AM still making so much noise as if the room were theirs. The rest were good.
