What I liked : beds / sheets felt comfortable . The place was cleaned everyday, it was globally quiet and the people friendly. What I didn't like : The administrators didn't take care of a group "speaking"very loudly in the kitchen in the middle of one of the nights. By the way , one person said that the way to the hotel was scary, this is really not the case even it's true that finding the right door can be difficult at first.

Excellent hostel really close to the center and from tube stations, the facilities are clean and numerous enough not to have to wait for your shower, nice english speaking personal. It's not located in a bad area as I have read, yes, there is a porch, yes, it is dark at night, but look at the cars parked there and you'll get that no, it's not more dangerous than any other place in the central Moscow.

Safari is my lovely place to stay in Moscow. I've been there a few times already and going to be soon again. I like the location (near from subway and Tverskaya st. + many supermarkets around), and the spacious and colorful living room combined with the kitchen. Also there is quite enough bathrooms and toilets (that's very important for hostels!).

The signboard of hostel is not very obvious for the foreigners first time traveling to the city. You may have smartphone or must speak (understand) Russian that could find the way! On the other hand, they keep well on the cleanliness of hostel. Especially, I love its living room! If you order the mixed dorm, the most important, must have to be careful of own property and surrounding. Because you won't never know what you happen to.

We had great New years holiday in Safari hostel. The staff prepared us hot wine and a pie, we got all information needed about city, sights, they offered a ride from and back to the airport. I had a nice stay in this hostel. The location is great. Easy walk to Red square.
