Good Beds and bathrooms, Nice free breakfast, cereal, croissant and tea/coffee. Big lockers under the beds. Can be a bit noisy at night.

What i didnt like :I couldn't get a second pillow for sleeping. Internet only working in the Basement. It was soo annoying there were no hangers in the room, no closet, no shelf next to the bed, just no space to put some things! Breakfast was so simple and boring. Instead of croissants i would have preferred bread with butter and jam. Peanut butter would have been very nice, as this is typical english.....

Hostel was clean and good quality. A bit expensive but you were in zone 1. Wish the lifts were working and a little more variety for breakfast but can't complain. Would stay here again

This hostel doesn't really feel like a hostel which could be a good or bad thing. Rooms are pretty clean, staff is very helpful. There isn't really a good place to socialize because the "bar" is too huge and there are so many kids groups (like school groups) that the atmosphere is a bit of a combination between hotel, hostel, and high school. I lucked out and had cool roommates, otherwise I wouldn't have met anyone. Good place to stay though. Location seems sketchier than it is.

Very comfortable, clean, and excellent location. I would stay here again without hesitation. The only thing I think might cause a little discomfort is the number of teenage/older child school groups, which meant lots of noise.

Really nice, spotless hostel in a great location. Only thing that really annoyed me was that there were no plugs in the bathrooms at all, which made blow-drying impossible if you didn't want to wake up the people sleeping in your room.

Safestay was seriously the best hostel I stayed at in my trip around England. Great staff, suave atmosphere, and a good breakfast made the place. Location wise it was a little sketchy, but the hostel itself was excellent! Just a short underground ride away from Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Definitely plan on using them again next trip!!!

Great place to stay. Even though it is not located close to the city center, public transport is always available. You can walk to the center in about 30 mins or less. Staff was great, and activities are always available. Staff were very knowledgable. I'f I go back to London, I'll definitely stay at the Safestay again.

After sleeping in hostels for weeks this is the first one i came across where i felt, clean and had a good nights sleep. The beds are large, comfy and the curtain around the bed was great (esp. when people turned the light on at 3am). Communal showers were spacious, clean. Was worth spending the extra few pound to be comfortable

Very nice hostel, very nice room. The only real problem was the windows isolation. It wasn't really efficient we heard the police sirens all nights and they were pretty far.

breakfast is very good!! staff are friendly... but sometime they are too busy that when i informed them there r no toilet paper inside the toilet, they can't immediately replace moreover, it seems that the lift has been out of order for a long time, but still nobody fix it anyway, i love this hostel and it is very convenient to travel to other places! i will stay in this hostel again when i visit london in the future

This is a new Hostel located in Elephant & Castle, everyone says its not a great place, but its fine really. there are bus stops right outside the Hostel that take you almost anywhere in the city. the only problem I had with the Hostel is I booked for 7 nights and because their bookling system is stupid, I had to move room 3 times! very annoying. as were the large groups of school children they take. Other than that, would stay again.

The bad side: the door of our room didn't close. The door of the shower was broken too and didn't lock. Showers are super small and it's not very convenient as everything just gets wet. You can't really hang your towel/clothes anywhere, it's just a little cramped space. All the rest was great. Bar area is awesome. Perfect for someone wanting to use wifi, chill out with your laptop. Beds are great, you even have little personnal curtains you can close for privacy.
