While Safestay was extreamly clean and had very comfortable beds it was over crowded with school groups. It is a large hostel and there were at least two groups while I was there, breakfast was chaos and there was constant noise in the halls with kids running back and forth. However, it is a very nice hostel and I definintley recomend staying there.

Amazingly clean, new and secure. Great rooms and facilities. A bit out of the way but still easily accessible from the tube. Nothing to do locally though you have to catch a tube everywhere. Awesome rooms, the place is practically brand new inside and was a great choice as I had never stayed in a hostel before!

Highly recommended and would definitely stay again - On a par with the usual large budget hotel chains, so a great option for a short stay in central London. Stylish and new throughout. Clean, comfortable beds with curtains / reading lights for privacy. Efficient staff despite the place being really busy when I checked in, and a fun, friendly bar (and not even too rowdy for a Saturday night).

Good Beds and bathrooms, Nice free breakfast, cereal, croissant and tea/coffee. Big lockers under the beds. Can be a bit noisy at night.

It was important for us that it has been a 5min walk only to the Elephant & Castle tube station and also to the Stead Street Car Park where we parked our car. I think this might be important to know for other guests too. The only thing what we'd missed in out room where coat hooks because we had to drop our jackets on the floor. The breakfast was ok for the price but the description "continental breakfast" raises expectations which it doesn't met.

Hostel was clean and good quality. A bit expensive but you were in zone 1. Wish the lifts were working and a little more variety for breakfast but can't complain. Would stay here again

What i didnt like :I couldn't get a second pillow for sleeping. Internet only working in the Basement. It was soo annoying there were no hangers in the room, no closet, no shelf next to the bed, just no space to put some things! Breakfast was so simple and boring. Instead of croissants i would have preferred bread with butter and jam. Peanut butter would have been very nice, as this is typical english.....

This hostel doesn't really feel like a hostel which could be a good or bad thing. Rooms are pretty clean, staff is very helpful. There isn't really a good place to socialize because the "bar" is too huge and there are so many kids groups (like school groups) that the atmosphere is a bit of a combination between hotel, hostel, and high school. I lucked out and had cool roommates, otherwise I wouldn't have met anyone. Good place to stay though. Location seems sketchier than it is.

Very comfortable, clean, and excellent location. I would stay here again without hesitation. The only thing I think might cause a little discomfort is the number of teenage/older child school groups, which meant lots of noise.

Safestay was seriously the best hostel I stayed at in my trip around England. Great staff, suave atmosphere, and a good breakfast made the place. Location wise it was a little sketchy, but the hostel itself was excellent! Just a short underground ride away from Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Definitely plan on using them again next trip!!!

Really nice, spotless hostel in a great location. Only thing that really annoyed me was that there were no plugs in the bathrooms at all, which made blow-drying impossible if you didn't want to wake up the people sleeping in your room.

Great place to stay. Even though it is not located close to the city center, public transport is always available. You can walk to the center in about 30 mins or less. Staff was great, and activities are always available. Staff were very knowledgable. I'f I go back to London, I'll definitely stay at the Safestay again.
