The hostel is around 15 mins walk away from the subway station - not very close. Location is central, but shops nearby were closed during Chinese New Year - not very convenient. Facilities were basic. Beds were clean and the dorm room was big. Strong wifi. Love the maps and the info hung on the walls - very useful. Not bad hostel, but I prefer somewhere else.
Great place to stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to get to know us even if we were there for a short time! In a convenient location, close to a subway station!

The location was great and very traditional inside the hutong, just 10mins walking to the metro and so close to Wangfujing and Tian'anmen. The staff simply amazing =) They speak English, are very friendly and they also organize very nice tour (and cheap!). I had a lovely stay there!
Metsome super nice people straight away at this hostel. Staff were very friendly but some more helpful than others. Nice eay location to navigate if first time in Beijing. All facilites super clean which was great!
Candice and the staff were lovely and helpful. Central metro station quick trip to everywhere but immediate surrounds not that interesting. Any time we had an issue they resolved it really quickly and courteously. Wifi was absolutely terrible though. Only worked intermittently. Decent bar, though drinks and food pricey. Bed was so comfy! Best sleep I've had in China (we had a private room). And we only had to share the bathroom with one other private room so it was basically an ensuite.
This place has a good atmosphere, the room is nice and the food from the bar is good. Dumpling party on Friday was also fun! It was a little difficult to find though, even though I got a taxi.
good hostel near forbidden city, with near subway stations. They provide excursions too great wall (mutianyu, baddaling, etc, and many other place, for around 280 rmb). Weak point: slow wifi connection specially at night when many people use it. Anyway, would recommend it.
The hostel is really nice with privacy curtains in the rooms. However the common area is the bar and the wifi can be quite awful at times. But would stay here again for the location and nice hostel.
Bad wifi at night. Good location with near metro stations. They do tours to the great wall and other places, around 280 rmb. Would like it has a common lounge....
With very goog location it is really amazing with the tour to gread wall. The statfs were very helpful and they can speak good English .The room is cleaned everyday . Top advise.

good location.the room is very clean.we went to the gteat wall by the tour.it is beautiful. staff are friendly to tell you what you want.they always smile.I like them totally.
Lovely hostel, stayed in a three person private room with my partner and a friend and the room was clean and spacious with a wet-room ensuite (very glad it had a western toilet)! We also went on the Great Wall at Jinshanling organised tour which was a fantastic experience, although the tour guide did leave us on our own half way around the tour, so if you're hoping to have some one describe the wall every step of the way then maybe this isn't the tour for you.
Best hostel ever! It was amazingly heated (it was -5 outside) everywhere, the staff were incredible, the room was great, the bar had everything you could have asked for, great food for when you just need a burger! A top place and would recommend!
This is a great hostel in a fantastic location. They were really helpful and friendly. Really good English all round and really patient when I tried speaking Chinese. The tours they run from the hostel are great too! Go to Mutianyu and ride the toboggan!
Great location for sightseeing, confortable and really good tour to the wall. If you take the tour to the wall dont listen to the guide there is definetly time to walk to the old part and also take the taboggin down you just need to keep going and not stop for too long at the top. Hostel only seems to do western food which is quite expensive but if you tuen left and walk to the top of the road there are tons of food options, i recommend the dumpling house dinner for 2 and under 30rmb
Saga youth hostel is the best hostel I stayed at during my visit to China. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to help with any needs or concerns I may have had. Additionally they included sheets for privacy in the rooms which is something I was very happy about. The atmosphere was great, but with a little difficulty meeting other travelers( I was in Beijing during the low season). Otherwise I would absolutely suggest this hostel to anyone visiting Beijing.
