The staff as a whole was extremely helpful. Peach helped with carrying our bags to our floor. Cafe had a "dumpling party" which was fun and was something different. Extended our stay for 3 additional nights. Walking distance to subway. Nothing to complain about. What made our stay excellent was the staff.

It is nice hostel. Not the best, but good. Prices for breakfast are to expensive as for hotel, but taste good, except of pancakes! You can make it better, the one I got tasted terrible! The hostel is clean, unfortunately has no common area, only bar and bar on rooftop, but its ok. Nice place to stay few days

I had an excellent stay at Saga! The staff were very helpful, the bar/restaurant was convenient, it was clean, and close to the metro down a cute, quiet hutong! Thank you.

We had a great three days at the Saga Hostel. Good location, comfortable room and excellent staff. I want to thank Chen in particular for mending the broken shoulder strap on my backpack!

A little difficult to find if it is your first time. Had some problems but they were all China problems, not hostel problems, and would be terribly unfair to blame the hostel for that. Stayed in a private room and it was clean, had AC, a working TV, wi-fi was good, overall can not complain at all. Bar at the hostel was nice and food was decent. This is a great place to stay in Beijing.

Very nice hostel with super friendly staff. Even 6am in the morning they were friendly ;-) I'm a solo traveller and met a lot of people. the bar is lively and serves a lot of different kinds of food and drinks. However, the food wasn't that tasty unfortunately. But always nice to have the option to eat at a hostel. Close to a subway station

Great hostel! Staff were fluent in English and always available to help with any request. Twin en-suite room very spacious and clean. Location is good, however a little far from the subway. Dumpling party is a must... Great way to meet and mingle with other foreigners. Tours provided by the hostel to the main attractions are also very well organized and reasonably priced. Overall good stay!

I thought this was an excellent hostel. Pros were friendly staff, clean rooms, nice beer garden. Only problem was the lack of entertainment in the late evenings. The only thing to do was to hit the clubs. Having something like a pool table would make the eveinings less boring.

Anand was very helpful in putting a last minute tour together. He arrange a fantastic driver/guide and we had a great time visiting Erdene Zuu Monastery and staying with a nomad family on the steppe.

The staff at Saga Hostel are super friendly. Cherry is amazing and so helpful with anything you need help with. It was a clean environment and a nice stay. I really enjoyed the dumpling party that they have on Saturdays- they teach you how to make dumplings and then you get to eat them! Bonus :) Thanks to the Saga Hostel staff!!

A nice location, which has everything whaz you need:a nice bar with fresh draft beer, happy hour every day and a nice garden on the roof. For a hutong place a fair price

Breakfast was not included and the restaurant foods were relatively expensive. Breakfast + coffee was 8USD. Double room I stayed had airconditioner and TV which had only Chinese channels. I would definately stay here again.

The hostel offers several tours. The three of us went to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the Kungfu Show, and the Peking Opera. The Great Wall is a bit difficult to get to on your own, so having transportation there and back was really helpful. The Kung Fu show was really touristy (i.e., almost no Chinese people), but still entertaining nonetheless. The Peking Opera was also good, but look out for rude audience members - some people were talking incessantly throughout the entire performance.

I stayed in Saga for three days while visiting Beijing. The hostel is located at the end of an alleyway which confused most taxi drivers, but aside from that it was a decent place to stay. The internet worked fine, it was quite clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Very nice hostel and staff in the Hutong! The balcony at 3rd floor is great to chill after a long day
