Ok placetostayfor a night in Beijing. We got our dormtoourselves so we slept well! Shared bathrooms were decent with large showers. Interesting decor on the second floor. Afternoon staff were very nice.morning staff could not even help us tothe bus stop. Good thing there were manyother helpful people outside the hostel. A bit of a hike down an alley from the metro also.

We had a good time in this hostel. The hall is very comfortable and cosy in a nice chinese style. The rooms are fairly clean but the toilets not always... The staff was generally helpful . I definately recommand this hostel

The quilt was very dirty, it had blood stains on it. It would be good if cleaning facilities could be provided so that people staying a long time could clean their bathrooms or the staff should clean the bathroom after a few days.

In three days they didn't clean my room, they just come and take bin bags. They don't provide shampoo, gel, for cleaning teeth... I didn't have internet in my room just in the lobby. The breakfast overrated, i payed for american breakfas plus one coffe 50 yuans.

I really enjoyed staying at the Saga Hostel. The staff are friendly, amusing and efficient. The position is great, really close to the forbidden city, main railway station, and night market, but not in too 'touristy' an area. There is a great choice of local eateries within 10 minutes walk, as well as a superb food market. The value is excellent. The breakfasts are good, and, if you are coffee addict, they provide the real thing. I could not recommend this hostel more highly.

I stayed in a 4 bed dorm for 5 nights. The facilities are basic but clean and worked just fine for me. Just one con: the dorm wasn't cleaned during my entire stay there. The location is great, just a few minutes walking from the subway and down town. There are also many food stalls just around the corner. Even though they have a common area it is not easy to get in touch with other travelers, especially if you travel on by yourself.

With a little better illumination, more cleanliness, a proper internet conection and a smile, this place would increase the quallity a lot.
