Sahabat is a great place to stay. The hostel itself is a bit hard to find at first as there's no real sign identifying it. Once you're there the staff is super helpful and polite. Was there during a busy time, but the hostel was quiet. Beds are comfy, but lots of noise in the neighborhood due to construction. Takes a while to get your bearings and the nearest public transportation is a bit of a walk. However, you're on the quiet backside of all the bukit bintang action.

Great location! The main bar/restaurant street is right around the corner... as well as the street with all of the food vendors at night! Great value for money! Clean! Friendly staff!

beautiful looking hostel, rooms are very spacious, with individual lockers, lights and power points per bed. the breakfast is just toast, though one morning they bought a couple of roti which were delicious. there are computers, free wifi. nice courtyard, shared bathrooms between quite a few rooms but i never had to wait and the hostel seemed pretty full. it's not super social, definitely not a party hostel, but i met a a couple of nice people. had to pay for towel, luggage storage avail too

This guesthouse is in a great location and is a excellent base to explore Kuala Lumpur. It is a 5-10 minute walk to/from a monorail station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was simple but very clean and very quiet. The breakfast is simple but good quality.

Nice hostel, Nice character, helpful staff. Lounge area and Kitchen were great, TV had all sports channels. Location perfect, 2 minute walk to nightlife, 10 minute walk to the Pavillion Centre (highly recommended for shopping & Food Hall was cheap and extensive). Quiet road, no problems to sleep. Breakfast was poor - Tesco Value - Cereal, Bread and Tea Bags (you need 4 to make one decent cup). Self Service. Good that it was available until 12:00. Tea, Coffee & Hot Chocolate available all day.

A group carrying on a conversation and drinking at the outside table just outside our room woke us probably about 12.45 am. A complaint at 1.15 am quietened them but low level noise kept us awake. At 2.15 am banging on our window got the group to go away (including a staff member possibly???). We eventually managed to get to sleep at about 4.00am !!! The table should be moved or access locked after 11 pm.

Staff is really Nice , very quite place and very clean and safe . The location is good, but the area has a specific type of goers (Bars and Pubs That are repeated everywhere in touristic Asia). All in All was a good experience.
