We spent a wonderful night stay at Sahara Camp, followed by a well-arranged one night camping tour to the white desert by owner Badri.The camp is located 2-3 Kms out of Bawiti in a nice rural setting.While this allows wonderful views, it is quite a hike to the town and you are dependent on (free) transport arrangements to get food and other necessities.Did not affect us though - all the meals served were delicious.Two things could be better - bathrooms and greater transparency in tour pricing.

The Sahara Camp was a great place to start exploring Bahariya. We took an overnight desert safari that was wonderfully organized and so much fun. We all really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back!
