The staff are super nice make you feel welcome. They are a great help for any questions you have. Free breakfast! You're welcome use the fridge and kitchen too! Get ready climb some stairs to get to your room. Love this place, I'd stay again for sure
I cant think of anything that is bad. Enjoyed staying there. Will always stay in this hostel when in HoChiMinh
Basic hostel but staff were helpful!
Nice staff especially the evening girl, very helpful. Good location for bars and near the park but horrible smelling market around 100m away. Could not smell at all from the hostel but found myself detouring to avoid it and I'm not squeamish at all.. No real social area but still met nice people. Good for a quick stop over.
This was a great little hostel, although far from a the attractions. The bedrooms were very clean, although could be slightly cold with the a/c and noisy with traffic outside at night. The breakfast is great and the chill out area at the top of the building is a nice social place. The staff will organise reasonably priced comfortable transport to the airport for you.
The hostel is located right in the backpackers quarter, so there are tons of bars and restaurants right around the corner. For authentic food, you will have to walk a little further. The roomes were quite neat but a little dark, and the shared toilets/showers (the showers are in the stalls) were clean. The free breakfast was nice as well. The staff was friendly and helped us finding sights and places to eat.
No real social meeting space which was a bit difficult! I only stayed for one night, though. Really kind staff! Pretty poor wifi, though
Overall a very pleasant stay here with some very helpful members of staff including recommending food places and helping my friend at the police station after she had a bag stolen. Security especially at night seemed a little too relaxed as none ever checked our IDs or room numbers but other than that a great hostel thank you!
Small but has everything you need. Clean and good facilities! Lovely staff
Bad experience. Location good, rooms were clean and free breakfast nice. Keys for lockers didn't work. 2nd night, locked out of the hostel with umbrella in the door with no one to let us in. 1st morning tried to pay for both nights to get our passports. Switched rooms second night, tried to get key, told to pay again. Staff phoned girl who took payment, said we paid less and was extremely rude. forced to pay extra since didn't believe we paid more and "didn't ask for receipt". Wouldn't go back!
it's a good location right next to all the pubs and bars. rooms are very tiny for the amount of people and bunk beds in there and the sheets are quite old.
The staff were very informative and friendly! Really helpful! However the hostel isn't great, not sure about other rooms but ours smelt disgusting, a strange sulphurish smell. Bed was pretty grotty and had a cockroach crawling over it when I first arrived. Never any toilet paper anywhere either! No social area just 2 small tables in reception. Wifi is poor. Incredibly noisy, take earplugs if staying here! Location is good quite though.
Great hostel with super-nice staff, very good free breakfast, kitchen for your use, comfortable beds = a traveller cannot wish for more. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they are now decorating the hostel with modern illustrations of Saigon. We recommend 100%!
This place really can't call itself a backpackers! No communal kitchen or place to relax. We arrived earlier than expected after an 18hr coach journey (4am) and were not even allowed onto the premises. Not even to sit & dose off. We were told to go away because we hadn't booked "that night" - stranded in a city we didn't know at that time of morning. Disgusting. Lockers were falling apart & hanging off their hinges. The staff lost our laundry. Slow wifi. Don't bother with it. Stay elsewhere.
Only down fall was the wifi wasn't great
Great hostel, value for money. Helped us out with a trip to the Cu Chi tunnels, and a bus to Phnom Pehn. Would recommend this hostel.
The hostel was under renovations when we arrived so there were workers, tools, scaffolding and dust everywhere. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking Cong Quynh which is quite a busy road. The door was too small for the door frame so there was no respite from the noise. The curtains in the room didn't reach across the glass which also didn't help with the light pollution. All that said, the beds are very big and comfortable, just bring earplugs&an eye mask! There are lockers for everybody
I have reached the hostel in a bad time, because they are modifying the areas. Then, I couldn't enjoy all the facilities, atmosphere, cleanliness that they should have. However, the staff is great, and they help with everything. They are always smiling too. The full breakfast is amazing too.
Good location, very close to the main night street. Right next to a market for some local action and also next to the Wings bar, the perfect place for a solo traveler to start the night before hitting the pubs.
Staff were really nice, banh mi was yum. Room felt like a cave though. Shared bathrooms are clean. Location is really good!
