This hotel was a terrible experience. When we arrived they tried to put us in a room that was clearly occupied by someone else already with no sheets. At first thy insisted we sleep there but after asking forth manager they explained there were no rooms available although we had booked and confirmed on the phone that day! Then hey put us in the hotel next door which was disgusting and dirty and stunk of cigarette smoke.

Me and my best friend Tey enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Saigon Mini Hostel 5. The staff are very helpful and nice. easy to talk to them. Even though we arrived late at 1:30AM in the morning they still welcomed us warmly. I will surely recommend this simple yet elegant hotel to my friends in the Philippines. If I have the chance to go back to Vietnam. I will still choose to live in Saigon Mini Hostel 5. :-) Maraming Salamat sa inyo Saigon Mini Hostel 5!!!

Its in a good location in the backpackers district. We were in a shoe-box of a room that had no ventilation what so ever so night times were so stuffy. we couldn't have the air-con or fan on while we were sleeping because they were too loud. The room was a bit grimy. Internet kept stuffing up in the lobby. We booked our Mekong tour at here but went to the travel agent across the road for all our other tickets because they knew what they were talking about. Somehow we managed to get breakfast too.

Friendly staff and good location. Breakfast is reasonably priced with lots of set menus. Free Wi-Fi. Very good amenities in the room - complete in my eyes. safe, toiletries, shower with a small small tub, air cond, fan, hair dryer, fridge, phone.

small and clean but the receptionist was not very helpful with information's about booking a tour. even it was more than expensive what we got offered. we crossed the street and went to an travel agency which was much better. may the stuff should get some information's about traveling to different destinations in vietnam, or give the advice to go to an agency. I don't know if I would book this hotel again.

The hotel was quite easy to locate in Bui Vien Street. Walking distance to attractions (approximately 30 minutes to the Independence Palace? Along the way, there are other attractions). Staff could understand English very well and recommends good places to shop and eat. Corridors is a little dim but not an issue. The only complaint was there was a singing session around the neighbourhood on Saturday night that lasted till past midnight and disrupted my sleep. Otherwise, all is well.

A really lovely place to stay. It is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are quite big and the price for what you get it very reasonable. The location is great, you can walk to most of the major tourist sites (The War Remanents, The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame, the Ben Thanh Market etc. It's on a lively street in District one near lots of good cheap bars and restaurants. I'd definitely recommend it. bhíní
