Saint Elias Guesthouse has 10 big rooms with personal toilets, cooling systems and free WiFi service.
We have a huge kitchen (for any use) including a stove, 2 refrigerators, a dish washer and a washing machine. an extra specialty is the 2 terraces and the dinning hall. you can view from the terraces (one on each floor) the view of the Bethlehem and beit sahour area including the lights of the Jerusalem city. the dinning hall is where barbecues and dancing nights are held. Delicious homemade, organic, Palestinian traditionally food is available in 3 courses, breakfast, lunch and supper. the 3000-square foot garden had 100 trees, half of them are olive trees. it is the ultimate experience with a Palestinian family, and a taste of the Palestinian life.

Latest Review
When we booked it we didn't realise that the location was in the West Bank behind the wall. This may be offputting to some people but is perfectly ok providing that they are not Israelie or Jewish. The family is very friendly and helpful. Travel from Jerusalem to Bethlehem and Biet Sahour can be by taxi which is expensive (200 shekels) or best done by Palestine bus only from special bus stop at the old city wall next to the Damascus Gate (7 shekels pp) then local taxi approx 25 shekels. Gd stay.
