When we booked it we didn't realise that the location was in the West Bank behind the wall. This may be offputting to some people but is perfectly ok providing that they are not Israelie or Jewish. The family is very friendly and helpful. Travel from Jerusalem to Bethlehem and Biet Sahour can be by taxi which is expensive (200 shekels) or best done by Palestine bus only from special bus stop at the old city wall next to the Damascus Gate (7 shekels pp) then local taxi approx 25 shekels. Gd stay.

The family who run the guest house is extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here over the Christmas time in Bethlehem. They helped us out with everything, lend us their telephone so we could call if we needed a taxi or anything. The guest house is very clean and comfortable, although it's not located in Betlehem, but Beyt sahur, it's a 5 min taxi drive and 30 min walk to Manger Square. It's beautifully located at a hilltop. Breakfast is included in the price! Stay here!
