More hotel than hostel, no real atmosphere and the signage actually indicates hotel. Although the hotel is close to Hattagaya subway station, its not actually close to anything itself. Rooms are tiny but are clean and comfortable enough! This might be par for budget hotel course in Tokyo.
We enjoyed out stay, the location is good for people wanting a quiet stay, in a nice quiet area only a few sub stops away from big centre of Tokyo, but you can easily find food, etc right around the hotel. Staff were helpful and were able to speak English fairly well.
Great stay here. The staff were all great, friendly, helpful & spoke English which helped a lot. Very clean, the facilities were great, close to shops, cafes & the Subway station. For the money, it would be hard to beat it.
Had a single room just for myself, with a private bathroom. It was cozy, but clean and comfortable, which is all I needed. The fact that there was a cafe right in the lobby with food and drink available round the clock was great. The place in general was clean and comfortable. The location was good. Just 2 short blocks to the Hatagaya Stn, which is only 2 stops to Shinjuku Stn, which is only 4 or 5 stops to Shibuya. There are restaurants and convenience stores right near the hotel too. Thanks.
We stayed here for 5 nights and were really impressed with our room, the service (rooms cleaned and towels replaced very day) and the friendliness of the staff. It felt very safe and was nice and quiet at night time. However if you did want to party the night away you could knowing that there was a 24 hour reception.
