The hostel was in a pretty lively area of town which has plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs and etc at every turn or street. However, there isn't crazy noise level which was a pleasant surprise. The staff and all the guests were very friendly and nice. The cafe across the street was a good place to go to relax, unwind or start your day. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Very uncomfortable beds, otherwise all good

It is very nice place to stay in Tokyo. Standing Sushi Bar nearby is the best food in the world!! Staff is nice and helpfull, atmosphere is also great. Tokyo isn't a cheap place to stay but Sakura is value for money.
It's good because it''s close to a major subway/train station... and that's it! Reserved that in the first place just because it seemed to be the best option available!
For a decent, solid accommodation and good value for the money, can't go wrong with this place. The staff is friendly and informative, although the hostel is just very big that it looses it's intimate feel. But overall, excellent location in Ikebukuro, and plenty to do at all times, so you can't beat the location! The rooms are orderly, and the facilities have solid amenities and not a bad place for the price range.
