Highlight: Very friendly staff and very quiet street. Our double room with private bathroom was small, but comfortable. The hotel is located very close to Hatagaya subway station and close enough to Shinjuku. We found the staff particularly friendly. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonably cheap, convenient and comfortable accommodation in Tokyo.

This HOTEL is so nice, really reasonably priced for a couple compared with a travellodge in the UK. The service here was impeccable. I would love to stay again. Really easy to find, 2 mins from the underground. Room service everyday, supermarkets around the corner and a very friendly and reasonably priced massage palour (not the seedy kind!) around the corner. and the free breakfast which is so yummy and is eat as much as you like!!!But I do warn you it only runs until the bread runs out!

The only bad thing I have to say is not about Sakura Hotel at all, but it is with the directions given in Japan as a whole. Everything there is given in minutes walking but no right/left directions, it makes things confusing as an American. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Ok place, staff were nice but internet was very expensive and dont agree with hotels ripping there customers off, should be free. To be honest for an extra tenner a night you can get a deal on expedia for a much better hotel in a more central area. Rooms small as expected and maids very loud in the mornings, dont expect a lay in, youll get a loud knock on the door for `bed making time` at ten.

This is a great hostel that is close to Shinjuku. Rooms were very small though and we could hardly fit our luggage. The staff were wonderful and very helpful

Room is very small. Not enough space for luggages.

When the cleaning staff finished with my sister's room, they left the door propped open.   Read Owner Comments
