There were dead insects on the bed sheets when I arrived in the room and lots of stains on the radiator and floor.

staff couldnt find my booking at the first. then I was assigned to a 3-people room as they said no twin room available but later i was told to move to a "twin room" with a heater that cant be turned off. That was room 10, never stay in that room i suggest There was a shower in the room but there was no privacy. There was only colourless glasses surrounded the shower.

Did the job for a one night stay, nothing spectacular but we only needed a bed for a few hours anyway. Location is decent, about a 10 minute walk from the city centre.

The location is pretty close to the center although its on the other side from Piccadilly. Has a nice pub downstairs. The room was very average with uncomfortable beds. The room was also very bright due to a street light outside and crappy blinds and smelt a little (like birdseed for some reason).

For starters, this isnt a hotel, its a hostel so it should"nt be advertised as a hotel. While the staff were friendly and helpful the accomodation is a disgrace, i havent one good word to say about this absolute dump and most certainly would"nt recommend it to my worst enemy.

Toilettes are shared, that is something you know at booking time, what you don't know is they are as clean as a pub'toilette, therefore, stinky and dirty. Just entering the hostel stairs, you will be welcomed by a fragrant smell coming from the toilette of the pub on the ground floor of the same building. By the way we ordered some drinks, and not surprising one of the glass was still covered by some red lipstick from someone else. Only positive notes are the guys attending the pub.

We had no issues with the room itself, nor the location and staff. Only issue would be the lack of any insulation/sound proofing qualities of the window in the room (it appeared that the rubber seals were either missing or had deteriorated). This made sleep quite difficult, due to the traffic and city noise outside.

We were really happy with the place. The manager gave us a free upgrade from a twin bedroom to two singles, and the girl who dealt with us at checkin was friendly, quick, and told us everything we needed to know. The rooms were about as large as I was hoping for, and having private shower (which worked pretty well) in them was good. The shared toilets were clean and nicely decorated. Our only complaint was that the beds were a little firm. Definitely a cut above the usual hostel standards.
