This was a really nice place one of the places where I feel comfort and relax. The management was really helpful and cooperative.
The hostel was very home-y and perfect for the weekend! The location was perfect for us, as it was only a 15 minute walk from Bairro Alto, the neighborhood for restaurants and bars. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and all the facilities were very clean. Definitely will stay there again if I ever go back to Lisbon!

Nice place, not in the very very center, but close to other interesting spots. Thank you to the staff, I had a good stay!
Good location, not far from centre. Rooms are really nice but the walls are paper thin. We were provided with ear plugs however. Good wifi. Not much of an atmosphere to meet people.
We liked the location - not far from the center and in good area. Our room (#9) was very small but for few nights it was enough. Simple breakfast is included so you don't have to look at morning for the place to eat. Very close to metro station (Rato) and less then 1/2 hour from the airport but you have to change the lines. Do not go to Avenida station - you will have quite hike to the hostel. Staff gave us some information what to see around hostel.
We stayed at Salitre Hostel for four nights in a private double room. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helped us very quickly when we were suddenly invaded by ants ;) They also provided help with printing boarding passes and calling a taxi to the airport. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking etc. The breakfast offered cornflakes, milk, coffee, tea, fruits, bread, butter and jam. All you need for a good start in the day :)
