really great place, met a ton of nice people, and it was such a friendly atmoshphere!

The twin room is so small that it can hardly contain a bunk bed

HOME AWAY FROM HOME! This hostel has a very homey feel, the only odd thing is that it's very quiet and calm compared to other loud and lively hostels. The employees were great , very helpful, the bathrooms were always very clean & tidy. I would stay here again, the location is perfect just outside of the main area.

The bedrooms are quite small but it's to be expected in a city hostel. Major point is that it's easily accessible by car (with a small parking nearby) and much more quiet than hotels located in the shopping streets. Bathrooms are okay.

I liked this hostel

Staff was very great, friendly and helpful all the time. Bed was very comfortable witch was great after hours and hours of walking and it was nicely clean. For location there is nothing to say except marvelous, 3min walk to center square and Shop street. Recommended without thinking!

the best hostel I've ever been to! the atmosphere is fantastic- there is this common room with a tv where we hung out with other people from the hostel and watched movies and just talked... and it really feels like home :) also the kitchen is very homey :) really excellent! i recommend it very much! oh and the staff is super friendly!

Not going to lie the Admin lady was a little strange at check in. The stairs were pretty narrow and the rooms were a little dank but it was still more then serviceable. Maybe going from a top hostel to a regular one was a bit much for me to take at the time.

A really nice place, I liked the generous kitchen and the backyard. Funny that it's a bit of a nanny place (curfew at 3am, and they take your dirty laundry and wash it for you). And unfortunately our tiny room smelled of mildew and the power sockets didn't work in it, but I recognise it's quite an old house.

Nice little hostel in walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are clean but very tiny, you don't have have much space for your things! Just one bathroom on every floor, so when somebody is in the shower you're likely to wait to go to the toilet for awhile. You don't get keys for the room. But all in all it's a good little hostel to sty in for a night or two.

The staff is really amazing and made me feel like at home. They have an excellent kitchen and a cosy common room. The dorms are indeed small, but the beds are clean and comfortable.

It's not right next to Eyre Square, but Galway is small so you won't have trouble getting around. Overall, a pretty good place to stay at, especially if you're looking for a private room.

Unfortunately the room was very small but tidy. The staff was very nice. One night we have been kept awake for some time because of some very drunken guest and the next day in a very friendly guesture the staff refunded us the night without us having aksed for it.

Booked two private rooms for two couples. The hostel is located just outside of the real vibrant (yet sometimes noisy) part of the city, yet the 10 minutes walk to Eyre Square and its surrounding area is very convenient. The rooms were reasonably sized. And although the floor and window ledge were a little dusty, it did the job for what we were after for a nights rest. They staff were really nice and helpful.

The rooms are small but there is a great atmosphere, very friendly staff and an excellent equiped kitchen. Not directly located in the centre, but walking distance to the train and bus station, the city centre and supermarkets. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Great place, very comfy and full of nice people. It's like we are visiting friends or relatives, they are so considerate and friendly. Great human interactions. No breakfast included, but there is FREE tea and coffee and often free food is left by previous visitors - and it's actually nice to be able to cook on your own, at your own pace, even in the morning (big TESCO and LIDL 5min away). We stayed 3 days and preferred it tot the big Kinlay, where we were before.

I spent only one night at salmon weir. I was in a six bed but had the room to myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location, very friendly staff, however the rooms are very very small. You can use a small locker. Nice kitchen.

The staff is what made this hostel amazing. Incredibly friendly. Very clean hostel. The only isdue I have with this hostdl is that the room was too crowded and hot, they squeeze as many beds in a room as possible that you cant walk in it without stepping on someone's things. Would be nice if thd big window could open to get cool air in. Loved the receptionist, friendly guy.hard working fellow

Very small room with a corner in it. Irritating that every time you left you had to leave your room key behind and when you came back you had to ring the bell and wait for them to open and give you your room key.
