My girlfriend and me stayed in the Hostel. Actually we wanted to stay only for 2 nights, but then we extended for 2 more nights. Very basic, reasonable prices, familiar atmosphere.. I really liked the fact that they have an Ukulele and a Guitar in their cozy living room. It's a cute hostel with very narrow rooms and corridors. Only negative point: it's possible to face a little bit of mildew in some spots around the window of a room.. But as long as you don't really care everything is good.

The way you had to pay was a bit messy. But other than that it was fine.

I stayed here for a little over a week... And I fell in love with them. The staff is incredible, and very willing to help you with any problems, give suggestions about the town itself, etc. The rooms are nice, while a little tight-you have to get creative when storing your stuff (I put my big Backpack underneath the bunk bed... There are lockers in each room for you to stash your valuables). Everything is cleaned every day, and they're okay with doing some laundry. Safe and convenient location.

Difficult to find (when driving, at any rate), but really cool spot once we found it!

had a really nice stay in the hostel last weekend. even though there was a curfew at 3pm we arrived at 3:20 and were still let in. The only things that annoyed me were that we had a room right beside the shared bathroom with electric shower & were aware at 7 am with people showering. this continued for 3 hours, and there is no parking facilities. there is a carpark opposite the hostel but its two hours max stay, otherwise its really good for the price you pay and located in the heart of the city

The hostel is near the city center and it is easy to reach shopping facilities. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good.

Clean and affordable! Nice and quiet, felt like a hotel. Great atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and many internationals to speak with and learn from. The open lounge attached to the kitchen gives a welcome feel to the place as there is always someone playing one of the available instruments, having a meal or otherwise.

The staff are very friendly at this hostel, but the beds were not very clean and the rooms are very small. The hostel is a small house, but the kitchen and living room are big for people to hang out.

The room was way too small for the number of beds in it. The bathrooms were not really clean and the showers not great. The night costed 16€ but no breakfast was included. The staff wasn't very professionnal.

The rooms were far too small and the bathrooms too less for so many people and very dirty.

The thing that impressed me most was the staff and towels being provided was an added bonus. I was nervous because no one had ever booked the double-private room and commented, but I was content. I've only done hostels a couple times and I was pretty impressed. Nice double bed and two lockers were in the room. I would recommend this hostel to people who want to visit Galway. The cathedral is right down the street and a few nice pubs are a stone's throw away.

We found the hostel easily enough but that was the best thing about it. The attendent quickly showed us our accomodations and that was the last time we saw him. The rooms were dirty and the linen was stained and of dubious cleanliness. The lockers were few and too narrow for use so everyone just put their stuff where ever it would go. The security was supposed to be someone sitting at the desk checking the door but we never saw anyone and the door was unlocked til 3:00am and no door key either.

The first impression of the hostel was not good. Little room in the entrance and it got worse when arrived to the 4-bed bedroom without private bathroom. It is a very small room for 4 people that I am surprised how they managed to put the bunks in there. Cleanliness of the room was not good, but the bathroom was. Living room and kitchen were quite good with large space to do all the stuff you need, plus a large collection of games, dvds and books to enjoy as well as guitars to play.

This place was basically a college dorm, run as a hostel by college boys; with the corresponding cleanliness and good vibes/hangout. Very chill, bathrooms were actually pretty clean. Sheets and pillows a bit less so (stains etc). Not a bad location at all, even if not directly downtown. Staff was nice and helpful. Always people downstairs hanging out and cooking. I would stay here again.

We had reserved a twin room which was listed as having a private bathroom yet the bathroom was shared with others. The room was tiny and cramped and although the sheets were clean, everything else was filthy. There were used tissues stuffed down the side of one of the beds which was pretty gross to say the least. Window blind was broken, mattresses were comically bad and i felt dirtier coming out of the shower than going into it. Go elsewhere.
