We stayed there last year and liked it so much that we are going to stay there on our next trip to Germany.

It was unpleasant that when we open the window of our room in the morning, we smell smoking cigarettes !

This is a wonderful hostel. Keep in mind it is a distance from the old town and requires a bus and walking to get anywhere. Hostel is located in the meadow of a park. This is a quiet and comfortable place to rest. Staff are helpful and lovely.

The rooms and the place itself are quite roomy and clean; had a good feeling about it. The included breakfast was the best we had during our vacation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom with four other rooms... was clean and pleasant.
Only downside is that the hostel is just a bit too far from the town center. Aside from that, we really recommend this hostel.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Located just 15-20 minutes bus ride south of the train station, take bus 3. The place was spotless and each bed has a lamp and it's own locker (big enough for your pack). The breakfast was exceptional for a hostel.

i had not problems with it."some staff" could a been more helpful in doing their job. everything was clean. warning they clean washrooms in the morning so preparied to be slown down if your in a rush. really close to everything. ask them about the organized tours each day, theres lots of stuff to do in and outside of salzburg. most likelzy the best hostel i have stayed at. breakfest is pretty cheap for what you pay. dinner is a good deal to and they have cheap booze.

The Staff was not very helpful or informative. No reasonable internet available. Motion sensor lights turning off every 2min. Strike 3 you're out.
Oh and you need GPS to find it.

This was my first ever stay in a hostel,
when ever i used to travel i used to stay in a hotel, but this time i thought of experiencing stay at an hostel and the experience turns out to be a memorable one...
The location was bit exterior and not a single signboards displaced to guide the visitors, the rest was just prefect at Eduard Heinrich-Haus...
