A lovely hotel that is great value for money. Only about a ten minute walk to main backpacker spots - but so much better for it - quiet, but safe location, clean rooms and bathrooms, wifi throughout, very close to ferry pier for sightseeing. Helpful owners, basic breakfast included - but range of options available. The only (minor) problem is that the walls are thin, but not a problem at all in such a lovely place

Great hostel, short walk from khao san road and the backpacker scene. Not on the road itself so the place is a bit nicer and quieter. Had a really nice room with all the facilites, cable TV, AC and managed to get wifi in the room. Rooms arent very well soundproofed so a bit of noise from neighbours. Guest house itself is a really nice building, with clean toilets and shower room. Staff were really friendly and helpful

A nice place to get away from the madness of Khao San Raod. Great staff and fantastic food to be had locally.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and staff were accommodating for early departure. Booked tour through guesthouse as well. Great location away from noise but short walk to crazy Khao San Road. Looking forward to staying here again at the end of our trip.

I stayed here only one night but left wanting to stay longer. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast included in the price is amazing. This place has a great feel to it and is on a nice quiet street only a 15 minute walk from the craziness of the main hostel road in town. And they have some cute dogs that don't mind a cuddle. They recommend a good restaurant too!

Nice and quiet place to stay in Bangkok. It is a 5-10 min walk to the famous Khao San road. The rooms are nice and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sam Sen Sam. It was a great location as it was not too close to Koh Sahn Rd but still an easy 5-10 min walk. The staff were really friendly and the room was clean.

The rooms are super clean and we had a good wifi connection throughout our stay. We initially stayed in a fan room, then moved to air con, both of which were nice and when we wanted to extend our stay again we were told only a superior room was available which eventually we got down to a reasonable price as after seeing the room it would originally have been really overpriced. The staff were friendly enough but the hostel didnt provide the best atmosphere. Breakfast was small but nice enough.

Sam Sen Sam is a GREAT little guesthouse. We really enjoyed our time here and on our last night we were upgraded for free! The breakfast was really good and the staff are probably the best feature of the place! Would highly recommend this hostel. It is a short walk from Khao San Road so you can easily go down and enjoy all the shops and restaurants without having too much noise when you want to go to bed.
