By far the best hostel that i've stayed in.For me it's the "Best Hostel in the World"and i wish it has branches in other countries as it provides not only quality accommodation but great experiences to people who are traveling in Colombia. The staff are great, they go out of their way to help you, thanks to Johana,Alicia and specially to Sam and Silvia ,the true gems of this place, they are more than staff, they are friends who make your stay really fun & memorable.Try the steak at the PUB :)

Very quiet when we were there. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Dorms a bit cramped, but common areas nice, and kitchen is very well equipped and spotless.

Just great hostess in the morning, not that good in the afternoon. Please change more often the sheets.

My friend and I stayed here last week for three nights. It's located right on the main square so perfect location. Great security, two kitchens, and even a roof top pool! The staff member on morning shift speaks English so can help you if you don't speak spanish. Great hostel. No hot water though (that seems to be the normal up this way in Columbia and we are now in Santa Marta and have had no hot water since bogota) and only fans so the rooms can get warm. Overall would stay here again.

It's not filled with people partying. You get a great nights rest to do a full day of all the amazing activities san Gil has to offer. Also the most luxurious Hostel I've stayed in. Enjoy!

Perfect location right on the main square, the dorms were a bit cramped when full, not a lot of place for backpacks etc. One of the dorms even has bunk beds with 3 'layers' (top, middle, bottom beds)! All is clean with a cleaner coming daily. Great kitchen and the terrace is nice but not a lot of comfy spots to chill (e.g. hammocks). Staff was v friendly but not helpful and disorganized to book activities, so better book activities elsewhere if you don't want to miss them!

As we got there on Wednesday the bathrooms were clean all day and we were really impressed. But as it got closer to the weekened they got dirtier and dirtier. I think with so many people using them, they should be cleaned a little more often. Also review the toilet paper as many times there were non. A good idea would also be to put a mirror in the rooms. This way you don't have to run to the bathroom al the time. But other than that, we really liked it!

Very nice hostel with a great location and a pool. Only problem is the lack of hammocks.

Include breakfast, and it would be helpful if some of the staff spoke a little bit of english

This wasn't my favourite hostel, the beds were pretty uncomfy and the dorm were pretty cramped when full. The outside pool was awesome though...!
