the breakfast in the morning was a great additional insentive which also made us get up and explore the city. the staff were also a great help to encourage and advise this exploration.

The best hostel that I have visited in Vancouver so far. Very clean with comfortable beds. Lockers are quite small though, and the men's showers on the 3rd floor was under renovation, but that was a minor inconvenience.

With a bar and location that good, it should be rated number 1 in Canada!

Location is the best. Clean, good facilities, the structure in general is very good. The Beaver, the bar is a very nice place to have dinner at a good price, and also a beer!

The hostel is very well located, clean, the breakfast is really good and so is the common room. The problem is that sometimes the staff is not properly polite. They must undestand that sometimes people either do not speak well or do not understand their accent, since many of them are from Australia, which has a very characteristc accent. But, of course, when I say staff and their behavior I mean some of them.

The people there weren't too friendly. It wasn't the best hostel I've stayed at. The rooms on the street side are very loud until 4am because of people on the street.

Pretty nice hotel

The hostel was ok. Breakfast was minimal, and the restaurant wasn't too comfortable. The majority of the staff was Austrailian, and also living in the hostel. The common area and activities were dominated by the staff, which made it more difficult for the travellers to interact. My 4-bed room was smaller than other 4-beds, and the lockers were tiny.

i enjoyed my travel with Samesun hostel in Vancouver, but i was disappointed a little bit. Actually we have to use our room key to lock whenever we go out so it was annying. And i think it was not good for me that i couldnt use downstairs to have some snacks with my friend unless we orderd anything. However it was very good for me to have Baegle in the morning. Overall i enjoyed a lot!

Pretty much an unbeatable location, good price, and a pretty solid bar. Best place to stay in Van as far as I know.

We requested an all female dorm but a man stayed for a night. When we asked down stairs the lady said we were in a mix dorm. If you have the option to choose which gender dorm you want can you please see it through. Thanks

besdie's a really bad roommate which can't be helped by the hostel itself it was a good stay, bathrooms aren't amazing but your not paying for a 5 star hotel!!

Quite okay, for students and people with a thight buget is it the right thing. The breakfast in the morning was very good, but sometimes there was to less places to seat and we had to eat our bagel standing up. All in all I'm happy that i chose Same Sun because i got to know some new people all over the world :D THANK YOU

Really clean and the bar is great:)

The place has a great atmosphere and cheap alcohol in the bar. The only downside is that the place is not as clean as other guesthouses I have been to. I would stay again if I visit Vancouver again.

i really enjoy the feeling of being in something between a sportsbar/pub and a lodge/foyer of a hotel. i hope you can put all the effort in giving everybody the same nice treatment i got, when i stayed there - i really appreciated it.
