Really nice hostel to stay at! Always something going on in the beaver bar where always people are. Nice location and nice staff.

Careless staff, filthy rooms and very noise guests. The staff didn't care about the last.

Generally a good hostel, just the kitchen is too small for all of the people that stay there. But I knew that going in to it from reviews so not really a big deal. I asked/paid for an all girls room and they put me in a co-ed, but I didn't complain. The bar has a good atmosphere and cheap drinks and nightly meal specials for travellers on a budget.

One of the funnest hostels i've been too. All the stuff are very friendly and the bar down stairs is a fun way to blow a lot of cash.

This hostel made my stay in Banff great! It has a great atmosphere and is an awesome place to meet people. The Beaver bar is a cool place and the $6 dinner specials are sweet! Staff is also friendly and willing to help you with any questions you have. The only thing that could be better were the beds, the mattress I had was done for and new ones would be nice.

Great hostel. Staff were good to deal with, and good fun as well. Will definately be coming back.

A great party hostel on the far end of Banff's main street. The bar in it is lively with decent prices. A fun hostel.

A bit high aussie count, but theyre only nice! Excellent "european" hostel feeling, awesome bar, cheap dinners, free breakfast and wicked snowboarding!

Great spot - a bit quiet while we were there but it wasn't a popular weekend for boarding. I wish the luggage room key required a sign-in/sign-out. It wasn't a problem or anything but it would have made me feel a bit better.

Loved this place, everything about it was great. Couldnt ask for more in a hostel.Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Would happily stay again anytime

Noisy Hostel with good beds, but little room to leave your stuff around. No lockers provided, only a dressoir standing next to the bunkbeds, which gives quite a challenge climbing out of the upperbunk without hitting it. Free breakfast provided it just a pitcher of pancakebatter and some bread. Reception was very helpfull with answering any question. Bathrooms are spacious and hot water is good.

If all hostels were like the Samesun, I would never go home! The staff were brilliant and created a great vibe. The Beaver Bar is an awesome place to come at the end of a hard days riding and enjoy a drink while meeting new people. Big lockers that fit an enormous suitcase (something that´s hard to find). Huge bathroom with enough space to dry out boots. Ski/board storage available. Wifi easily accessed from rooms. Everything you could ever want in a hostel.

Had an awesome time at the Samesun in Banff. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Will stay at other Samesuns in the future. Ended up becoming mates with the people in my room and the hostel had a sick atmosphere :)

The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. And the bar was really good to have on site from a social and food perspective - it was cold outside so not to have to venture out to eat was a welcome option! All in all would definitely recommend this place. Made some good friends I plan to stay in contact with despite being in the 31-40 age bracket...!

A warm and welcoming hostel in banff with a great amount of entertainment. Only draw back was we found the beds to be very noisy and seemed to wake up people by accident.

The Staff were knowledgeable, warm, and very laid back. Loved the bar nights and the food and drinks were incredibly cheap. You guys were one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at!
