Terrible place. Smell everywhere. Small room and very small bathroom. You get what you pay, but with same money you can definitely get much more. The location is good only for temples and koh san road but I wouldn't recommend to stay there not even for this reason cause it's far away from every sky train.
This is a great hostel in the middle of fascinating old town. I loved walking to the local markets and fantastic street food nearby. The rooms are very simple and clean with good air conditioning. Make sure to check out the roof garden. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and very helpful with directions/ transportation/ suggesting local areas to visit. There is no elevator so if you have a giant suitcase you might want to go elsewhere. The bathrooms are very clean but there are no private ones.
We love Samsen Skyline & consider it our staple for calibration into our favorite country on Earth after a long trip across the Pacific! We can't wait to return :-)
To quiet then what it said and also pretty dirty and staff were poor
It was adequate for what I needed, difficult to meet people though as most other guests were Spanish and spoke little English
The communication was not so good.. a lot of knocking on the door of my room (also in the early morning).
