Hi there!! I am sorry about that. As mentioned in your review we have closed down the second floor and now we only have the completely modernized 3rd floor apartment. Hi there. You should have told us that the lock to your door was not working properly and we would have fixed it!!! As for the checkin sheet, I don't really know what you mean... The back of the contract has the house rules, the same as we send to all our guests when we process a booking... It is not meant to be rude, it is just a statement of rules and what happens if those rules are broken, we treat everybody the same. In any case, thanks for your rating and your review and we hope to see you again some time in the future... And, please, if you do come again and you have any problems with any of the fittings, fixtures or mechanisms in the apartment let us know inmediately so we can fix them!!! All the best! Hi guys!! Thanks for the rating and the review. Sorry you had trouble finding us... Really it is quite easy if you just follow the instructions in the PDF document we send all our guests when we process a booking. Just take the bus from the airport, get off at the correct stop, cross the street and you are right there. The problem is that municipal law in Palma does not permit us to have a sign outside!!

Hi... Thanks for the review... Not really sure what you mean by don't expect much... We offer beds, towels, bed linnen, clean bathrooms, use of the kitchen (with pots, pans, plates, fridge, oven, microwave, cooker) in the center of Palma at a low price... So I don't know what you were expecting... In any case, let us know if you have any comments as to how we could improve! Kind regards.

Well, what a terrible rating!!! I am very surprised that you had trouble finding us, as the information we send all our guests as soon as they make a booking makes it extremely clear how to get to us. If you look for the street name and number in Google Maps or Bing or any GPS you will find it really quickly. Also our telephone is available 24 hours a day for you to get in touch with us if you get lost for any reason. What else, lets see... The apartments (as there are two) are located on the corner of a main avenue, this is true. All the rooms are located on the quiet side street and with the windows closed there is very little noise. If you are very sensitive to city noise then maybe you should consider staying in the country... We can offer you a very nice Villa in the middle of nowhere if that is what you are looking for! As I mentioned, there are two apartments, one has one full bathroom for three double rooms. You were staying in one. One was empty and the other had two girls staying. I honestly can't believe that this could possibly be a problem. 4 people for 1 bathroom... That is the concept of a shared bathroom... The other apartment has 2 full bathrooms for 5 rooms and in the 3 years we have been operating it has never never never been a problem, even when we were full to capacity of 18 people staying at the same time!!! So, I don't think this comment is justified. We would prefer that next time you go to a cheap hotel (if you can find one!!) and not come to us and shout at us and be nasty. We should have told you to leave when you arrived... You really need to relax more when you are on a trip... You should enjoy your time and not get angry because YOU could not find the location!!! Now, as for your ratings... Lets see, SECURITY: 1 The main door to the building locks, the main door to the apartment locks and has a deadbolt security lock, each room has its own key, the area is a main avenue with police security cameras outside the building... I honestly don't know how it could be more secure without a security guard!!! LOCATION: 3... The apartment is in the very center of the city of Palma, just 2 minutes walking from the main square... We consider this to be an excellent location! STAFF: 3... We speak spanish, english, russian and catalan... We are nice, clean and friendly... When people shout at us, we try to make things right... But, OK... I guess 3 is not bad... ATMOSPHERE: 1... It is not a party house. It is a quiet residencial building... Maybe next time you should stay on the "Beer Street" in Arenal... nice and busy!! CLEANLINESS: 2... See, not this is just you being nasty and rating with your heart not your head... We clean all the common areas of the apartments every day... We clean the bathrooms twice a day... The bed linnen and towels are left fresh for every new guest and for people staying for a long time we change them every couple of days... Exactly what was not clean? VALUE FOR MONEY: 2... Well, if you can find a nice apartment in the center of the city, where the rooms are clean and have lots of natural light (even a balcony), where you can use the kitchen and have space to store your food, you can come and go when you please... all for less than 40€ per night... Well, I wish you luck!!! FACILITIES: 1... Elevator, Security door, locking rooms, use of a fully equipped kitchen, shared bathroom, bed, shelves, TV, WiFi... What more do you want for 40€??? A massage and a chocolate on your pillow??? Maybe you have to re-evaluate your concept of travel and go to Dubai or something!! In any case, we hope you had fun in Mallorca and that you will never come back and stay with us again... It is people like you that make having a Guest House a chore and not something we love, which is usually the case, because usually people love staying with us and usually people really enjoy themselves.

Hi there. Sorry that you did not have more information at the hostel. We expect people to be self sufficient and since the tourist office is just 2 minutes walk away we think it is not necessary to have loads of pieces of paper that just end up crumpled and in the bin hanging around... We used to have loads of pamphlets and flyers for people, but they all ended up going in the trash or getting things written on and were always blowing about the hallways which looked terrible!! Soooo... we opted for a cleaner look and just point people in the direction of the tourist office which has all the maps you need and all the information you could possibly want ;) We are always available on the phone or via e-mail (though via email we can take up to 24 hours to answer). Sorry we couldn't be of more assistance planning your trip for you, but our site is quite clear about us not being in the building 24/7 and so is all the information we sent you via email. Hope you had a great stay in any case and that you will be able to come back soon for a longer stay and enjoy the island more fully. Kind regards! The Team.
