We were very pleased with this hostel overall. The friendliness of the staff and the excellent setting (yes we saw koalas) are the strong points!

I absolutely loved staying here, it was my favorite spot on my short trip to Australia. I stayed for 4 nights traveling alone and had a blast. Met a bunch of awesome people (the outdoor kitchen was great socializing) and there are quite a few beaches around. I had a rental so I more easily had access to the remote ones, but they also have buses and cabs.

I loved staying here over Christmas. Mark and Sandy put on a fab xmas eve party for everyone and there was a great atmosphere. On xmas morning we each found a gift with our names on out side our room. They really made people, far from their homes, feel comfortable and welcome. I can't recommend this place enough; relaxed, friendly and def the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful location and people. Love it!

The place is stuning with an amazing garden &swimmingpool. ANd the bungalows give couples just a perfect sense of privacy. Also, Sandy was a great host, we really enjoyied our stay over there and would definitely recommend it!!!!!!!! :)
