Place was great. Perfect location! Loved the free breakfast, although when I booked it said there was cereal but there wasn't any. Free dinner was also amazing. I was there for both pub crawl nights and they didn't do any of them which I was disappointed about because it is much easier to meet other travellers especially when travelling on your own like me. Not having power outlets in the room is a massive pain too. Other than that it was awesome and cheap! Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Free breakfast and dinner tasted awesome thank you. The rooms were very bright at night though but otherwise ok.

We enjoyed our stay at OB, despite being a bit away from downtown the public transport was more than manageable and there were plenty of bars and restaurants near the hostel/beach. My one complaint would be the noise as we weren't there to party as much as other guests, when they came home at 1:30am/3am etc the noise in the hall was quite disruptive, however the hostel did offer free earplugs! Cooked eggs and pancakes for breakfast, friendly staff and clean rooms, generally very good!

I stayed here for just one night. The breakfast was impressive. Eggs for breakfast are always good. However breakfast is between 8-9. A little early. The lockers in the room are way too small. You can\'t even fit a laptop in there. The hostel is also very dirty. Need new carpet and showers. Having stayed in over 100 hostels worldwide this one is very average. Some staff should learn to smile and say \"hi\" to guests. It goes a long way.

Staff here is horrible. Rude from the get-go for no apparent reason, unclean, smoking cigs indoor, and generally seemed high and useless the whole time. They changed our door locks during our stay (who does that??), so we were locked out for a few hours. Of course the person on duty at the time was too stoned to do anything, and refused to contact the manager The downer vibe from the staff rubs off, and the whole place was introverted and not a lot of fun happening. Would not recommend...ever

I wish they had a common area open after 11pm. I totally understand the no drinking rule so it is not a party hostel, but it would be nice to have somewhere to hang out later on at night!

Staff were friendly, bit of a tight/small kitchen/dining space. Breakfast was great! Internet was annoyingly slow in certain areas, especially downstairs. Would like the back beer garden space to be smoke-free. Apart from that, had a nice stay!

I read something bad about this hostel, so I was a little bit afraid of staying there, but when I got there I realized that It was really nice! they clean the hostel all the time and the atmosphere is good. Even though the rooms are small, It is very good!! The bathroom is totally clean and twice a week they offer free dinner (spaghetti). The breakfast is nice =) . I do recommend! It's cheap, well located and It's got a great atmosphere!!

Loved the location of the hostel. Very local and everything is close by. Lot of homeless but never felt unsafe. I had a good time and will be back.

I cant say that the staff were friendly. Every time I came to ask a question, it took several moments for the female staff to even acknowlege I was standing in front of them. Also didnt care to listen to there issues with each others work ethics ...happened to be there for a screaming match. a lot of homeless in the area. Really isnt much to do in the area other than a few bars..Business owners arnt very friendly either. Great for a cheap place to stay as long as that is all you want
