The only issue you will have is that there is a bar right across the street and it was very loud. The upside was that we were so exhausted this did not matter. But if you are a light sleeper, then good luck. It took us an hour to find Ca Bragadin (the house you go to check in). The directions were awful. However, the San Lio location was great. I t was fairly easy to find the Rialto bridge and the St Marks Square from there. I would stay there again and it was good enough to recommend.

The doubleroom is quite small. You can hardly move around and no place to put ur luggage but on the floor. At 85 euro per night with no breakfast its not worth value of money coz u can find better, bigger room w/bfast.The towel smells vinegary. It doesnt feel fresh.Im afraid i get out of the room smell like it.I think they need to change the laundry powder to better smelling one with the same disinfectant effect

A large scale detailed map of route from Railto to San Lio would be most helpful, one that avoids the steps at the bridge for those pulling suitcases. Info should also include location of "Check In".

Our room was small but we had everything we needed ! that was great. The neighbourhood is very nooisy (olendese bar), impossible to sleep with the window open before 3am. There is air conditioning in the room but it was still very hot. I think it's a very good place to stay 2 or 3 nights, well located, confortable and not that expensive.

The place is very hard to find. Better directions are needed as the hotel is broken up into two seperate locations in the small allyways of Venice and the signs are small on doorways. Took four hours to find it.

More of a hotel than a hostel.
