First the positives; if you follow the instructions on the Hostel world site you will find this hostel easily. 10 mins out of city centre. It's cheap. You get what you pay for. Slow internet and rude man in reception and unapproachable staff. It's not like most hostels (easy going blah blah). It's in a "alternative" area, so don't be shocked if anything shifty happens. No lockers and minimal security. If someone wanted to break in they could easily do so...

We stayed at this hostel for nights. It was a good place to stay, clean, quiet if your room is not facing the road. Staff is friendly and nice. They have a PC for guests, for free. It has only two showers, so if the hostel is very busy, there could be queues. It is a small hostel, there is no common area so it will best suit people who just want to have a place to sleep in Athens.

A nice relatively cheap Hostel with a great location and a nice, helpful staff. You can walk to the center in 10 minutes but if you are the lazy type of person, the metro is two minutes away.

There was only one bathroom per floor and about 15 people. No ac and very crowded area. If it's one quick stay it's okay.

It was a great stay here, heI had a good time and met some nice people. A shower curtain would have been nicenice, otherwisemaybe changing the garbage buckets a few times a day since you can't flush your paper and it stinks hahhahah

People will rent a room here because it's super affordable, despite the facilities and amenities. There's a large amount of insects in this hostel, from ants all over the floor to a dead cockroach the size of my thumb on the kitchen floor. The staff makes an active effort to keep the place clean and functional but overall, the place is really old and run down. They didn't even have enough blankets to give it to the Mixed 4-bedroom dormitory. The bathroom is like a closet.

The staff are very friendly and happy to help. The location is good with the train station about 100m away. The immediate area is ok and is safe at night. You can walk to the acropolis in about 20-30 minutes. It has all the basic facilities. I would of liked a locker for peace of mind. Clean sheets when requested.

Bad hostel

The hotel is just next to the railway station. It's the only good thing about it. The rooms are very small, the bathroom is disgusting... We only stayed one night because our boat arrive late and our train was early the next morning.

It's a decent hostel for the price in Athens. Don't expect anything extravagant. It's a bed and a shower. It was nice not to sleep in a bunk bed for once too. The man working was very nice and helpful considering it was a late night/last minute booking. Not far from Kiffisos bus station which is the main reason I stayed.

Very basic, but everything that you need

Very nice people, but the hostel is quite far from everything and the security isn't great. Still, some of the nicest staff I have met.

Wanted a cheap place to stay for a couple of nights and that's exactly what we got.

Staff is nice, trying to do best for you. Atmosphere would be nice for adventorous young people. But if you need to sleep comfortably after a long day trip in town, i am afraid you are out of luck. Cannot recomend to families or children. Also sanitary facilities looks terrible. I have had forgotten my flip-flops so i haven't dare to take a shower there. Few rooms looked pretty nice, but our room was very small and bed was rough. Some visual adjustments would definitaly help the hostel.

The room was small and didn't have any windows which made it even worse. The bathroom was really gross. We had to wear our shoes just to go to our bathroom! We stayed for a total of two nights, and in that time we saw 3 cockroaches... gross! The woman at the front desk was very nice, but that doesn't make up for how bad the place was.

You get what you pay for. This building is very old and not very nice. We only chose it because we were just staying for one night and it serves it's purpose. The staff was very nice though. One lady in particular helped me carry my massive suitcase up the stairs even though she was just as tiny as I am and also let us check in early and take a nap before we went sight seeing because we told her we had spent the night in the airport the night before.

Absolute 10/10 beautiful friendly and helpful staff would definitely return! Yeww (chicken babies!) :) xx

This is owned by a couple both who are very friendly and helpful. They are more than happy to help you get to where you need to go or give advice on what to see and where to go and how to get there. At first I only had two nights booked here and two at another hostel (Pagration). But San Remo was much better, so I ended up leaving Pagration to go back to San Remo. It's located very close to a metro stop which is a short ride into the city. Rooftop Terrace. Free Ouzo shot!

We stayed here for one night because it was the only cheap available hostel, and it served its purpose but was quite unpleasant. There was no sort of security as far as we could tell, the age group of our dorm was mostly older men,?the bathroom was so tiny you couldn't sit fully straight on the toilet. One of our sheets had stains on them and the other had a whole cut out.

You got what you payed for. Basic beds, basic bathroom, which was to be expected. The main flaw with the hostel was the lack of security. There were no lockers, and often the front desk was unmanned so anyone could've walked off the street, taken a key and emptied out the rooms. Did not feel particularly safe leaving large packs in the room but unfortunately had no choice- could not bring them with us.
