Bathroom was unfinished... Dirty shower without a curtain or anything so the whole bathroom floor became wet... Even after showering, I felt a bit dirty...

Staffs are friendly and hostel is quite calm after a very tiresome day, place to stay in peace.

- i did not feel comfortable in the Hostel - the bathroom was very small and there wasnt even space to put something or there was no power outlet to use a hair dryer for example - the bed was ok, but the room had no window and it wasnt very comfy - the staff was pretty old already and couldnt give good recommendation - there was no living room to meet others, just a small uncomfy kitchen - there was no locker for private stuff - city is 3 stations away from metro

The hostel wasn't the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. The kitchen was a mess and had flies buzzing around a full garbage for the night I stayed. There were always dirty dishes everywhere and nothing ever seemed to be put away. The staff was friendly though and the rooms were quaint.

The bathroom in my room was really small and smelly, it did not even have a window or extractor. The bed was confortable. And good location.

Overpriced accommodation for what it offers. Average location, unhelpful staff, unclean and not well setup, cramped bare minimum facilities. I expected more given the decent rating but was misled. Do not stay here.

Hostel was in good location close to metro, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms where basic but clean. Would recommend for one or two night stay and wanting to be close to Athens.

The staff was very friendly but the management/owners should really invest in new facitilies. Our room was just next to the reception, so one can hear everything and it was also next to the kitchen and the only window was facing the "beautiful" view and smell of the kitchen :( I do understand that for the money we paid we shouldn't expect a lot but a place with such a good location could be a way much pleasent hostel for the backpackers to enjoy!

Only one plug in six person room. Beds very close together and nothing for security in the rooms. Kitchen was not clean, common area very small. Washrooms were unclean, often no toilet paper, no shower curtain. Staff were nice. Location very close to metro station and a few restaurants, but not in the main area. If you are looking for a one night stay, it is a decent and inexpensive option. Would not recommend if you are looking to meet people and stay long.

it is a small hostel very nicely situated, in a strange neighbourhood, but everything around is cheap. like the coffee shop close by, runned only by cute boys, or some restaurants around. staff are doing their best to suit you and all in all, I'm happy I came here! thank you!

Not a bad stay overall, but San Remo could make some major improvements with simple additions such as lockers (in the hall, for example where there is lots of rooms), more hangers and a shelf in the bathrooms to utilise the small space, a shower curtain, more hangers in the rooms and better (and cleaner) facilities in the kitchen. The staff was nice, but all in all, you get what you pay for - which isn't much.

My first impression of the place wasn't too good, but after a few nights there I totally recommend it -Location: perfectly located, walking distance from the centre. Didn't feel the area being bad as said in some reviews -Staff: All of them are super friendly and helpful -Atmosphere: Not very sociable people at the time I was there -Cleanliness: Everything was clean -Value for $: Totally! -Facilities: Maybe a bit run down and lacks more plugs in the rooms. Nice roof terrace to chill though

Cheap and simple and the staff were absolutely amazing. Very easy with us leaving bags during the day. Very flexible with our stay and very helpful with travelling advice. Ignore all the bad comments - clearly not travellers - if you want the hilton go book it! We were there for my first night of a work trip just to find our feet in Athens before we stayed with a friend and it did the trick. I saw families with three kids staying there who seemed perfectly content. Don't hesitate just book.
