There is no indoor common room. When it rains which it tends to alot in N.Spain there is no area to shelter. The 10:30pm curfew needs to be respected. One shower is not enough for the amount of guests in the hostel. Needs a good clean aswell.
Great camp if ur looking to party and have a good time. Staff very nice and helpful. Saw every beginner stand up which is a hard ask when it's your first time surfing. Only downside, the hostel was 30min drive from the beach and you only go at around 1030 each day. You do stay for a good 3 hours which by the end you are knackered and feeling surfed out. Awsome food the staff did an amazing job stepping in for the chef as he had to leave unexpectedly. Had a awesome time here cheers guys.
The atmosphere of the hostel was fun and welcoming, however; always full of excitement. This is not a place for a peaceful get away. There is always an opportunity to go out at night and the surf lessons are worth the money alone! A wonderful trip!!
The staff at the San Sebastian Surf Camp make for a very welcoming, community atmosphere! I specifically want to mention Courtney and Matt for their ongoing professionalism. This is a great place for travellers of all surf abilities and I would especially recommend for young, solo travellers. The surf camp is a great party atmosphere and they offer lots of bar and food tours in the afternoons and evenings. If you are looking for a quiet/relaxing getaway however, this may not suit your style.
