Evrything was perfect. This unusual hostel is really good : great staff, good location, affordable prices for a student and the atmosphere I felt was definitely local. THanks them again for everything.

The welcome was second to none - free coffee and a hug - after a long overnight flight. The hostel felt very safe and secure and the staff helped with things like routes to food and drink and an ATM. Thanks for the experience.

The staff was awesome! --super helpful and friendly. It was a smaller place, seemed like a pretty chill/older crowd. I liked the locations, close to San Thelmo markets, shopping, and good restaurants.

The staff at Sandanzas were incredibly friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about the rooms or bathrooms at all, and the included breakfast is more than the average bread and jam!! I spent christmas eve here away from my family and friends, but the dinner and drinks party that the staff put together ended up being heaps of fun and really made it feel more like christmas time! They even gave everyone in the hostel a mate cup as a xmas prezzie!! I'd definitely go back again!!

I liked Sandanzas. It's located in the heart of San Telmo. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even though the appearance of the hostel is a little bit shabby, the atmosphere is good. And you get a towel for free.

+ everybody was friendly and I went out with flatmates several times + staff were very very helpful in identifying places to go see and eat at. + staff happy to teach / correct spanish :) + hostel is perfectly quiet to get the sleep you need to go and explore for the day + located in San Telmo; La Defensa has plenty of restos and stores to explore - common room seating could benefit from a couch - in room electrical plugs (wall mounted), had poor contacts, often found myself without a charge

Lovely Hostel with only 28 rooms so feels very cousy and friendly. Not a crazy party place so would suit more to 25+ traveler. Could do with new bed sheets. Breakfast is great so is staff!

The staff is very friendly. This is a great hostel that i do recommend. It is very nice and close to the center. The only bad thing is that we slept in the dorm close the entrance door which was creaking during the night.

This is a cool little hostel-not too many beds so never overly busy. The staff were sooooooo helpful. Really appreciate all there advice. Loved the location as well. San Thelmo is a great little spot & easy to tour the rest of BA from. p.s watch out for scams in BA...

This hostel was very clean and safe, with incredibly helpful staff. Not to far to walk to most places or alternatively to catch public transport. Breakfast was great!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel a lot. It was a nice and warm welcoming, the staff is very friendly and help you out with whatever you need. The beds are comfy and clean, also the breakfast was delicious...(I love dulce de leche.hehe). Unfortunately I haven't booked more nights, so I had to move out, but I will return very soon. Thumbs up for Sandanzas!

Stay here. Great staff. They even made my bed everyday. And clean the rooms everyday. Fresh juice for breakfast. Great place to meet other travelers. Great open hang out places. Cool neighboorhood, feels a little sketch walking by yourself at night. I never had a problem though. They could use a few more showers but other than that great. Staff is super helpful!! Great for knowing which bus to take and where to go. I plan to return!

Great staff, breakfast and location. San Telmo was a really great neighbourhood with a fantastic market on Sunday, much more character than some of the other neighbourhoods we walked around. Our private room was slightly noisy as the television was on loudly on the other side of our wall and people like to talk as loudly as possible! Other than that is great and would highly recommend.

This is a quiet hostel - in my 3 days here I didn't really meet anyone who wanted to go out and socialize. I guess thats fine if you just want some alone time. The staff are very cute and friendly. Some nice touches include very comfy pillows, the beds are made everyday (unusual for a hostel), and unlimited free tea and coffee throughout the day (good for lonely nights in!)
