Great location, awesome awesome breakfast and the staff were really friendly. If you are looking for a lively atmosphere and to meet people this is not the place, well at this time of year anyways. Also they definately need to redesign there 'chill out' area, no where to really have timeout, esp without the cleaning lady asking you to move every 15minutes.

Nice to have a welcome drink! We were only there one night but the hostel seemed to be quite quirky with interesting artworks around. The staff were helpful. The room (double with en-suite) was clean and a good size. Breakfast looked like it would be good as there was small portions of cereal, bread rolls and croissants and fruit. Unfortunately the freshly-squeezed juice had maggots so we didn't eat much after spotting those! Staff were very apologetic & removed it immediately.

Really enjoyed this hostel the staff are really lovely and want to help and make the place homely. It is in a great location. I was there before a work trip and was able to do a bit of work, and enjoy the area. Would most definitely stay again if I was heading back to BA. Thanks for a good couple of nights.

Very helpful staff, and always there to happily answer any questions. Security is good with a video intercom working 24hrs to let you in. Cleaned every day. Good breakfast of bread, croissants, cereal, coffee/tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. Had a chilled vibe, reasonably quiet as far as noisy fellow backpackers coming in late and waking everyone up goes. We stayed for 8 nights and would happily recommend Sandanzas to anyone who wants a well run, fairly small and chilled hostel.

The Good-The staff at this hostel is extremely helpful ! Also, they have one of the best breakfasts that I have had anywhere in south America. Very fast internet connection ! The Ok - The location is 13 blocks away from the Palace and central square so its a bit of a walk, although there are some nice sites that you pass along the way. Also, this is not a party hostel, so if that is your intention I'd recommend checking out another place.

The Staff was very kind and helpful, I really enjoyed. The Atmosphere was good, a lot of young people and all were nice. The location was good if you want to walk in San Telmo, but was a little far from some other points. Nothing too impossible to go walking. The street and the way to the hostel seemed insecure during the night (8 p.m).

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were amazing - they were very busy but always had time to answer questions, offer suggestions or just to chat. The location was perfect for getting around. We loved the art, the charm and the warmth at Sandanzas.

GREAT hostel! Great choice for my first stay in BA. Staff welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen and lounge area. Good coffee, and great breakfast! My only problems were showers - the one closest to my room was dirty and clogged, and another one I tried was only cold water (but as the weather was so hot..that was OK!) Unfortunately my bed was right by big slamming door that was open and shut over the night.And... pillow could not be called a pillow, Im not really sure what it was! But i was happy!

The welcome was second to none - free coffee and a hug - after a long overnight flight. The hostel felt very safe and secure and the staff helped with things like routes to food and drink and an ATM. Thanks for the experience.
