I arrived on the 1st of June. The receptionist tried to hold our passport till the next day but we had to leave the hostel before 8am so we weren't able to let the passport. I told him to take a copy of our passports and record all information required but he didn't accept that. I think is not even legal to retain a passport. HE JUST TOLD US TO LEAVE THE HOSTEL AND IT WAS 1AM. WE COULDN'T STAY!!! AND THEY CHARGED US! TO BAD. SO UNSERIOUS AND ILLEGAL!! I will try complain legally.

The toilets were terrible. Not properly maintained so a lot of blockages. Otherwise it was a nice enough place. It has a really friendly atmosphere and it was nice to have a meal included. The beds were good quality and clean and there was a lockable wardrobe provided.

overall staying in a hostel was OK. Toilets are not working, bathroom is a disaster, breakfast was normal for that price, dinner also. We didn`t get any linen untill the last day. Othervise for that price was great. For

The beds are really good, as well as the security. The baths are horrendous though, way too small and uncomfortable. Overall a nice hostel, though it's missing a hang-out room to create a social atmosphere.

Pros: the rooms are clean and spacious. Weekend breakfast is quite good. Quiet place and also feels safe. Cons: old, grumpy and disgusting people living there, acting like the hostel was their's. Bathrooms and showers really small. Neither good or bad: the location, by the north side of Hyde Park and Queensway tube station, is not bad, but neither is it close to anything interesting. The hostel is not expensive, but could be a bit cheaper. Some members of the staff are nice, while others are not

The bathrooms were pretty disgusting, and food was mediocre. Other than that, this was a safe, well-run, and fairly average hostel.

I loved the atmosphere and the staff, especially the boys from the kitchen. Everybody made me feel welcomed there. Most people seem to live there for a long time and they all feel happy,it looks like a family. Of course we can't expect the Ritz for what we are paying so, if you bare that in mind, it's a great place!

I dont remember when I was so satisfied with accommodation!:) It was clean, peaceful,in a safe, central area 3min from metro& buses& kensington gardens and walking distance to a quirky shops ¬ing hill market, single room was perfect with a large wardrobe, desk, mirror, tv and comfy bed. It is not a hostel atmosphere place to meet people its more a long term or just for a person who wants a good night sleep;) The only thing that there was no kitchen and breakfast too early! I go back 4 sure:)

The room was clean but the bathroom was pretty gross. Good location, just a few minutes walk to a couple of underground stations. Arrived to breakfast about 15 minutes before it finished and there was almost no food left.

Very nice for hostel stay. Rooms were clean with clean sheets. Washrooms were clean. Food was not good, but within the budget it is so worth it! Will definitely recommend and stay if I go again.

Great place. I come to visit my girlfriend every month and I am always well received. Hostel situated in one of the greatest area in London, near notting hill, hyde park and oxford street. Safe with lots of places to socialise and eat and drink. Would recommend and will comeback! Laurent, the manager is very helpful.
