This place was so awesome! Super unique hostel with a great staff. Located a bit far from the center but defiantly worth staying a few tram stops away for such a rad experience! Would stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Staying at Sandino was one of the most surprisingly enjoyable parts of my stay in Berlin. When booking this hostel, I just wanted a cheap place to sleep for a few nights while I explored the city. I wasn't expecting much from 14 euros a night. However, the rooms were clean and neatly furnished. The staff was delightful, and the overall atmosphere was really enjoyable. On my last night, everyone gathered in the open air kitchen for a BBQ and to watch a soccer game.

The place was great, although absolutely different. But if you're looking for different kinds of experiences for your trip, this is the place to stay. The chickens were great! Would be very nice if the bathroom doors could be locked and men's showers were a bit warmer (women's showers were fine).

it is a nice and cheap place, where we have enjoyed two nights. it can be arrived by tram M5. people in there are very nice. only one suggestion, it would be better if you can change your window curtains to lightproof ones. because it is impossible to have a good sleep in the sunshine morning in there.
