Situated in a prime central location, Sandra's Hostel has recently been refurbished to make it one of the most modern and comfortable in Scotland.
The hostel is centrally located in the town within easy reach of amenities such as pubs, takeaways, restaurants, the nightclub, shops, gardens and more. It is also within short walking distance of both the sea-front and Thurso River. There are a wide variety of activities on offer as well as some stunning locations.
Run by experienced backpackers, we provide guests with their own keys and there is no curfew. Hot showers can also be availed of at no extra charge and the hostel also has disabled facilities available.

People who stayed in that hostel and I called it the horror hostel. Seriously, I've been to a LOT of hostels but that was by far the worst. Strains of grease on the sheets, hair and crumbs on "clean" sheets, when you flush the toilet the whole house is shaking and making noise, after 2 nights my body itched like hell and the lock of the door wouldn't work. the kitchen was clean thanks to a woman who stayed there for a longer time. it took her a whole evening to clean the kitchend and cupboards..
