This histel was actually very good although when you check in it might not seem very appealing... once you settle in and see the common area you will be very pleased. The staff are great. I woke up very sick one morning from an allergic reaction and they were all very helpful in getting me back on my feet.

The door to our room didn't lock. We were only spending one night there, so it was alright, but any longer and it would have been an issue.

Great little hostel, nice people to talk to. You get what you pay for + a big common room. Bed and breakfast was just what we wanted...

Room was clean, showers were good and beds were comfortable. Not a lot of atmosphere and kind of hard to meet anyone.

Is this a safe place to sleep above a chips and fish restaurant ? Altough it is a very clean place to stay and sleep. Only the stairs give a dirty impression.   Read Owner Comments

Very cosy little hostel in centre of Thurso. We had a wonderful dinner in Le Bistro just 2 mins walk away from the hostel! I'm surprised this hostel is not listed in Lonely Planet Scotland.
