Immensely warm and informative welcome - including tea, biscuits, a roaring stove and an idiosyncratic presentation on the area's highlights. Spectacular location. Very laid back atmosphere. Immaculately clean without the clinical feel of some hostels - bags of character and comfort. Better equipped kitchen than most homes. Bring a torch and some gumption if you intend to walk between the hostel and the local hostelries after dark.

Absolutely amazing hostel. Such a nice welcome, offered a cup of tea. Fab sitting room complete with an aga and amazing views right out to sea. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone. Lots of character.

This hostel is one of the nicest that I have come across in Ireland. Rodney and Margaret, who run it, are really fantastic with their welcome, their chatter, and the welcome cuppa. It is also one of the cleanest that I have visited. In fact, it is absolutely spotless. I could not fault it in any way. It also has to be the cheapest at 12.00 euro per night.
