By far the best hostel to stay at if you want to see the city during the day and at night go out into the town. The staff is super friendly and really cool (especially Tat), couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this hostel for everyone.

While my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Barcelona, Sant Jordi Alberg was not quite the right place for us - which is probably more our fault than Sant Jordi's. As a party hostel, parties are what it offers - every night, people will gather in the living room (until 11:30 pm) drink and shout and then leave to a pub crawl and some club. This means the guests are mostly between 18 and 25, mostly focused on getting drunk all the time. Since this was not our purpose, we felt a bit out of place

Myself and 2 fellow scottish lads (all 22) decided to come down to barcelona for 4 night and booked Sant Jordi hostels based on the high rating they had. They did not disappoint! By far the best hostel any of us has ever stayed in and we have traveled all over europe. Setting aside the fact that its in a great location, clean etc etc. it, its the staff that really seperate it from other places! All the most friendly people and really helpful and set up pub crawls ever night and love to party!

It's very clear why this hostel is consistently ranked one of the best in Europe -- the facilities are great, the staff is friendly, but most importantly, the atmosphere of the hostel is first rate. It's a great place to meet some neat people, whether you're into partying or not: they organize nightly outings at 11pm that are great opportunities to hit the town, but if you're looking to stay in, there are plenty of people around who do the same and take it easy by watching tv or just hanging out

Decent place to meet people and party at night. Not the most interesting place, but has a central location so it is easy to walk almost anywhere you want to go. There is a pub crawl almost every night, but it consists of two places. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are quite nice. Good place to meet people, but is nothing special.
