The staff was amazing! Everyone that stayed there had a great time hanging out with eachother and the staff. Very fun and nice place to be! Look forward to being back in about 3 weeks, and I hope you all are ready for more 'crazy parties'!

Sant Jordi is by far the best hostel I have stayed in since I've been in Europe. It was so spacious, clean and friendly and the pub crawls were awesome. I also stayed in 'the famous' Kabul hostel but Sant Jordi was far superior in all aspects. I will definitely be staying at a Sant Jordi hostel when I return to Barcelona soon.

Great social life!!

Paid an absolute fortune for mediocrity. Among other things the internet was completely useless, there were no basic kitchen utensils, and the whole place felt uncomfortable. There's no way this hostel deserves such prestigious awards. Because of no availability on the 2nd night I went to Sant Jordi Gracia which was FAR better and far cheaper. Despite already paying nearly twice SJ Gracia's amount I managed to get my booking changed to SJ Gracia, which was a far more enjoyable experience.

Excellent hostel. Staff is the friendliest I've ever met. It's well located (close to Plaza de Catalunya, Las Ramblas and so on) and very clean. It looks like a brand new big apartment. I recommend to anyone who's going to Barcelona.

As it is a partyhostel it can be noisy during the night.

Best hostel I've stayed in yet. Ridiculously clean, great showers (always hot!) with free hairdryers, personal bathrooms (as opposed to stalls), THREE hangout areas (including one with an enormous flatscreen), really friendly staff, free pub crawls every night and all rooms have free lockers that open with your room key. As a girl traveling alone, I felt totally safe and it was really easy to meet people. Also in a great location a few minutes from Plaza Catalunya and on a quiet street.

Good location (take a hostel near to plaza catalunya since the express bus from the airport (aerobus) stops there), great staff and good interaction among the guests. Noise reduction could be better (noise from the street in the 10 pax room, and noise from drunk guests in the common areas in general).

Very cheap and good value for money. However, lacked character and was very sterile. Also, there were no towels available to use.

Good things: This place had a great location, minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. They had nice clean, spacious rooms and kitchen did provide lockers. They gave a free map too! Bad things: Lockers have a digital lock and malfunctioned on me, lights in the bathroom go off every minute in the bathrooms which was annoying, felt kind of weird too because there were older people there like in their 40s. The staff was not very friendly either.

This place is really large with a lot of bathrooms and toilets. It's walkable from the main bus station. There are a lot of places to sit and chat with other travellers, there's even a dining room. Two kitchens with an oven but the stove top is really slow. I stayed in the 12 mixed dormitory for 15 euros, which had a small balcony, lockers and six bunk beds. I would happily stay here again for 15 euros.
