The girl on reception was lovely. Free wifi was good. Great location next to Passeig de Gracia metro and renfe - so very handy if you're going to the airport. I only stayed one night but seems like it has quite a sociable atmosphere and it would be easy to join in with the pub crawls.

this is a great hostel, good atmosphere and location. kept really clean, nice kitchen as well. even free sangria one night. the best part is the guys that take you out at night, forgot names one from portugal the other spain. take you on a free little pub crawl, and lots of fun. cons: showers get a little cold around 8pm since in use a lot. 10 person stag party from the uk. really loud drunk and annoying at 3am... the night staff guy didnt tell them to be quiet either, so i did. NO STAGS!!!

It's a big hostel, lots of people stay there, mostly English - they can be annoying at times:) very good location, nice staff, evening club crawls - I liked it! The 3 bed room I stayed in has no window, but it was ok.

Great hostel, 4 computers was impressive. Easy to meet people and always something happening. Staff were fantastic. 10 minutes walk to La Ramblas was easy.

One of the best hostels for socializing and partying. Staff and guests were all very friendly. Nightly "crazy party night" were always good fun. Loved it.

I really enjoyed that the the one keycard was used to unlock the front door, room, and personal locker. There were many toilets and showers that were kept clean. The rooms were spacious and each bed was assigned a corresponding locker. The staff also organised different parties each night, so if you're looking for a hostel to meet and socialise with other young travellers this is the place to be.

Clean and well kept, wifi dropped regularly. good facilities but dont expect anything to stay in the fridge. The city is nice, but I found the people stuck up, rude and pushy, theft is a real problem, on the streets and off.

This place was unreal, I was nervous about it, having never been to Barcelona before. Was blown away by the place and would definitely go back.

The best hostel i have ever stayed at by far!! Staff is very chilled out and friendly. Pub crawls are great. All the people are friendly and its easy to meet fellow travellers in the evening thanks to a big common room, with liads of films and live concerts on the tv.

Cool Hostel. Great for partying. Though, I did have a cold shower, and the room wasn't very clean.

I was travelling alone and this was ideal - a bar crawl is arranged every night so aside from being located perfectly to see everything in Barcelona, mostly within walking distance, it also meant there was a great social side.

This was one of my favorite places I've stayed at! The atmosphere is great! It can be whatever you want it to be! If you want to go out, go along on the pub crawl or if you want to chill and stay back, relax on the couch or make some dinner using their fully equipped kitchen! I met some of the best people here! The staff is very helpful, and the free lockers are great. I felt very safe here.

I've been to the Sant Jordi Alberg twice and have nothing bad to say about it. Both times were excellent, the room and facilities are clean, it is well located and the staff is awesome... I wish the pub crawl started earlier though!

I absolutley loved Sant Jordi Alberg, the staff is sooo helpful and it is located so close to all the main sites. The place is so nice and it super fun since they have pubcrawls for free every night. Next time I'm in Barcelona I'm going to there.
